Stella POV
I noticed a pair of lovely green eyes staring at me. I smiled at him and waved at him, but he just ignored me and left. i pouted. Rude.
My parents started introducing me to the guest. I became bored after a while and went near my brothers. "Heyy," I said, looking at all the variety of drinks placed there. "heyy "How's the party?" Lorenzo said, placing his hand around my shoulder. "Mhmm, pretty good, but boring," he laughed. I called a guy working over there and asked, "Can I have this drink, please?" I pointed to Lorenzo's glass.
His eyes widened. "WHAT!! You cannot drink that." "Whyyy?" I whined, holding his hand. "Because you're not supposed to," I pouted, approaching Matteo with puppy eyes. "Sorry, cara," [Dear] he said, shaking his head.
"Nope, you can't," Fabio said, smiling, as I approached him and Gabriele, who were doing the same thing. and Gabriele laughed, making me scowl at him, and I left for my parents.
When I saw them, they were talking with another couple around their age. I went near them. "Ahh, this is my beautiful daughter Stella," papa said to that man. "Hello, dear, I'm Emanuel; nice to meet you," he said. I smiled and replied, "Hey! I'm Stella! Nice to meet you too," I said, giggling.
"Hi, dear, I'm Isabela," she said, opening her hand for a hug. "Hiii!" I said, jumping into her arms. I love hugs. everyone laughed "Meet my son Alessio," he said, and then I noticed a muscular guy next to Emanuel.
"Hii, Alessio," I said, smiling, and opened my arms for a hug, but he just said a plain "Hi" and rejected my hug, making my eyes a little watery. "This is the friend I promised would be there," Papa said, pointing to Alessio. "Oh, that's nice," I said, but he doesn't appear to want to be my friend, making me sad.
I excused myself and went out to get some fresh air. I sat in the chair that was in front of me and thought about how lonely I am and have never had a friend—perhaps because of my childishness—and I silently cried.
After a while, I got back inside and continued the party.
When we got home, we had a small family gathering in the living room with just my parents and brothers. "Is there anything else you want other than what you got today?" papa asked.
"Mhmm yes!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down, "What is it?" Fabio asked, "Can I have the drink they all had today, please?" I said, pointing to my brothers. "NO!! "Don't even think about it," papa said, raising his voice a little. My lips trembled, and my eyes watered. "Wait," I heard my brother and papa saying, but I ignored them. I ran upstairs, sobbing into my pillow.
I heard a knock and said a small come in after a while. When I did not hear any sound, I peeked out of my fluffy blanket and saw my mom holding a bottle similar to the one that was there at the party, making me come out of my blanket.
"Drink this with me; you're officially eighteen and can drink, so don't worry about your papa and brothers. Let's enjoy," she said, giggling, making me do the same.
After two glasses of the drink, I started losing my mind, blabbed nonsensically, and laid on my mama's lap, making her laugh. "Mama, I don't have any friends; I saw at least one person talking to someone at the party, but I don't; can I please go to real school so I can make real friends? Mama, please!" I begged, my eyes welling up with tears.
"Aww, dear, don't worry, I'll talk about it to your papa," she said, rubbing my hair and wiping my tears, making me hug her after a while while I slowly fell asleep.
