About a week later..
It was saturday and the sun just rises. Genevieve woke up from the rays that's coming from the sun. She looked at the bedside table and noticed that it was 8:45 in the morning. She then get up from her bed and walked to her cabinet to get her clothes before going in the bathroom to take a shower.
It has been a week since she came here in the protector's hideout and she just finished all the things that needed to be take care of. She managed to create their newest poison and their antidote. She also tried testing it together with their weapons and the result was just as she expected.
It takes about 3 days for her to upgrade the poison and create its antidote. Then it took her a day to try and tested it with their weapons. Then yesterday, she went to her school to pass her schoolworks and get another one.
It was alright for her to take a leave of absence in her school because the Dean there was the husband of her mother's friend, also, they have a deal that Genevieve will continue bringing honor to them while she's in their school and the Dean would then agree of her, taking a leave of absence.
She would then get a thesis and other school works that needs some searching. The Dean would also give her some other projects. Then, when there's an upcoming contest, she will automatically be pick as one of the candidates that will represents their school.
Even though she already grew tired of contests and competitions, she always remembered that her parents wanted her to continue studying. And as a tribute to her late parents, she's doing her best to get an awards to take home.
Her awards and other achievements were currently now in the hands of her uncle, she didn't have time to take care of it because she was busy taking care of other things, and beside, her uncle also suggested it. Saying that it's much better if he was the one who's taking care of it, and so, she agreed.
Back to the present...
After taking a shower and changing her clothes, Genevieve then carried her laboratory utility box that contains 4 test tube racks. This is the finished product of Genevieve's works this past few days.
Then, making sure that everything's with heer already, she went out of the dark room and then went to their meeting room. Genevieve already informed George since earlier that there will be meeting later.
So the moment she arrived at the meeting room, she saw that the captains and secretaries of each class protectors were already there and was waiting for her. First Class Protector were all present except for Julius.
Their First Class Protectors can be counted in two hands, they didn't have that many and only have about 8, but was still looking for more talented protectors. That's why they have a monthly test.
The moment Genevieve arrived at the meeting room and was seen by them, they immediately stood up and greets Genevieve in which she returned with a nod and asked them to take a seat.
Genevieve puts the laboratory utility box in the meeting table and started talking.
"Thanks for coming. So, i already received the finished products made by the Second Class Protectors, and until now, there's still no improvement."
The moment the leader and secretary of the Second Class Protectors heard this, they can't help but feel saddened. It was their month's worth of efforts and it was still useless.
Although Genevieve talks to them frankly like this, they were used to this style of Genevieve who talks to them frankly and they quite like it. They didn't bore a grudge against her because they too, knew that what they made was far from what they wanted.
They wanted the finished product made by them be enough so that their boss wouldn't waste her time upgrading it anymore. Honestly, they were quite ashamed that Genevieve still needed to upgrade their works.
It might look weird but, it gave them a lot of motivation whenever Genevieve said this words to them. And so they promise to work even harder and make their products into perfection.
"I already modified them and has now created a much lethal poison than before. Continue creating that poison and I'll modify it every time you created atleast 50 of them. In here, are the samples of the finished products that the Second Class made and was also modified by me."
Genevieve takes out a test tube rack that contains the modified poison in it and put it in front of them.
"This two can be injected in the body, human or not. I named this pear colored one, 'Dhosyn'. It takes atleast 1 minute for it to take action in human and about 30 seconds in animals. While this one *points at the party pink color liquid*, i named it, 'Medusa'. It takes just 5 seconds to kill anyone who is injected by this poison. It creates instant pain and kills you immediately."
Genevieve explained coldly. The people in the meeting room instantly turned amazed by how fast it could kill.
Genevieve then pointed at the amber orange liquid and said,
"This thing, is the fastest to takes effect than the two. I named it, 'Kolite'. 2 seconds was all it takes before it makes you automatically drops dead. And lastly."
Genevieve gets the black liquid one and hold it a bit high for them to see.
"This one is called, 'Torment'. It's much slower but most painful in all the poison that i modified."
"Why?"
The secretary of the Third Class Protector, asked as they're all confused about what kind of poison this black liquid is.
They remembered seeing that the Second Class only created 3 poison and he remembered not seeing a black one.
"Well, it won't give anyone a peaceful death, it's actually the opposite. It will slowly burn your insides, and gives you endless hallucinations from your horrible real life experiences. It's the same as going crazy as that's the purpose of this poison. The effect will last for two days. It can be taken whatever way you want. Inhaling, injecting, eating, drinking, absorbing and other ways to take a poison. Oh and this is the combination of the 3 poisons that the Second Class created."
Genevieve explained which cause the people in the meeting room to shiver. They didn't know that the combination of the 3 poisons that the Second Class created can be made into such a horrifying poison when it was modified by their boss.
Their boss is really a very terrifying human. They reminded themselves not to mess with her or she might use the newly invented poison called 'Torment' in them. They'd rather pick the fastest way to die than to experience this newly invented poison.
But, even though their boss was horrifying, they can't help but feel proud that she was their boss and was helping them eliminate bad guys. They also admire her talent of creating something they didn't think of creating.
