Ezekhiel was doing his alpha duties in his office when he suddenly heard a knock on the door and Troye comes in.
"Alpha."
Troye said as soon as he entered his office. Ezekhiel look at him and put his works aside because Troye looks like he has something important to tell to him and so he asked.
"What's the matter?"
Troye didn't answer him immediately and just give him a paper. Ezekhiel reads the letter and Troye slowly felt an intimidating pressure coming from him.
Inside the letter was the reports and photos regarding the Lotus Pack. The two watchers that they sent to monitor the situation in the Lotus Pack was seen in the photo. Both of them beheaded and had their eyes gouge out. The contents of the letter made Ezekhiel furious.
'Dear 'Alpha Ezekhiel'
It was nice meeting you even though i really didn't meet you personally haha! I didn't know that your warriors were this stupid to be immediately spotted by my men. Is this what you called members of the strongest pack in the country? Haha useless. Your pack should be called the weakest. Oh well, try to be smarter the next time you want to spy on us. Oh and about the Lotus Pack? Well, i didn't know that the she-wolves here can be that delicious. I can even remember how they always scream under us. Isn't that pleasurable? Especially when their mates was looking at them. Imagine their pain? Haha. But i guess not, i remembered that you still haven't found yours, right? Ezekhiel clenched his jaw when he saw the name of the one who wrote the letter and when he saw some disgusting word about his mate. He knew this name. Brandon was known for being the lustful hunter. And he doesn't even care whether you have a mate or not.
If you have a mate, he will molest with you in front of your mate. And all of the wolves who have mates knew how much pain it will have on them especially when they're marked. It feels as if you're being torn into pieces.
He just wished that this man won't know anything about his mate, now that he still haven't mark her and won't know if she's hurt or in danger. It's very important for mates to mark each other if they're both wolves and when they have human mates, the wolves will be the one who'll mark the other, because they will know if their other one is in danger, near them, hurt or in pain.
And in his case, he will not know whatever happened to his mate, unless he marked her. And he knew that it will still have a long time to be able to mark her.
There is actually two kinds of hunter. The silent hunter or the noisy hunter. Tiago's group belongs to the silent hunter and was named 'Bloody'. They hunt and kill wolves silently.
While Brandon's group belongs to the latter named, 'Bruyant'. Brandon's group doesn't care whether you notice their movements, they hunt and kill wolves in public and will make it bigger so that it'll spread.
They're also skilled in slipping away. Many wolves tried catching them but ends up with nothing. They always failed to catch them because of how slippery they are. And what wolves were afraid of the most, is them, hunting their mates, violating them and seeing it with their own eyes.
Ezekhiel didn't want this to happen to his mate, his mate already suffered a lot and so he didn't want this pests to know anything about her and did something to her.
"Is there any box that's with this letter?"
Ezekhiel asked Troye when he remembered that the letter also contains a message that said that there's also a 'gift' inside the box thatt
come along with the letter.
Troye nodded and passed the box that he has been holding since earlier to Ezekhiel, in which, Ezekhiel opened and what he saw made him more furious that he clenched his jaw. Troye also looked at what's inside and felt the same way as his alpha.
Inside the box was two heads. The alpha of the Lotus Pack's head and his mate to be exact. It was something every human, much less wolves, can't bare to see.
The alpha of the Lotus Pack, Diego, had his eyes gouge out, his teeth were all pulled out, his ears were also cut. His eyes, teeth and ears were also put inside the box. The same thing happens to his mate, his luna, Luna Ella, except that there was a male genitals on her mouth. A scene looking like she was giving a blow.
There was also a note inside the box that says, 'Atleast she got to taste her mate, right? Haha!'
Ezekhiel and Troye can't take it anymore and immediately closed the box. The smell of rotting meat lingered in the air for a long time.
The two still haven't recovered when there was a knock on the door and then they saw Kyle and Kurt went in.
"What's with the smell?" Kurt asked as soon as he entered and smell the pungent smell of a rotting meat. He didn't think that far and just thought that it was an animal meat.
At this moment, Kyle saw the box which contains the heads of the leaders of the Lotus Pack and so, he opened it and he immediately let out a curse.
"What the fvck?!"
Kurt immediately went to look at what's inside the box and also let out a curse when he saw the inside of it. Kyle acts like he's vomiting at what he saw. While Kurt just look questioningly at Ezekhiel and Troye.
Ezekhiel sighed and begins telling them about the Lotus Pack, starting from the time when the Lotus Pack sent a letter to them until now. The two then take a seat and begans listening to Ezekhiel.
After a while, Ezekhiel finally finished telling them the whole story. Kyle and Kurt also felt what Ezekhiel and Troye felt when they read the contents of the letter and saw the heads in the box.
"Call Julius. We have to go to the Lotus Pack and personally see what's happening in there. Also prepare our warriors and weapons. And also the supplies that we recently have, let's test it to them."
Ezekhiel ordered the three of them in which they immediately obeyed and excused themselves. He wanted to go and personally see the current situation of the Lotus Pack. He just hope that the Lotus Pack can still be save given by how their alpha and luna was now dead.
Soon after, the news about what happened to the Lotus Pack spread around the whole country. Some packs were terrified, they're hoping that they wouldn't be Brandon's next target. While some were uniting to help the Lotus Pack, especially those who were friends with them.
On the other hand, the troops of the Crescent Moon Pack was already preparing to go to the Lotus Pack, with Ezekhiel leading. The family of some warriors were especially telling them to keep safe and come back alive.
Ezekhiel just look away and turned to look at his father and mother. Troye, Kurt and Kyle was comforting their mothers that they'll come back safely and not to worry.
"Son, do your best!"
Ezekhiel was thinking of ways to comfort his mother but he didn't expect this reaction of hers. It's like his mother doesn't care whether he'll come back alive and safe and just told him to do his best. Ezekhiel turned to look at his father who was smiling helplessly and shaking his head while looking lovingly at his mother.
"She's right, do your best. I know you will all come back safe and complete." Zandro said complacently to his son.
