Aurora stared at the content of the book not really reading it, but just examining the words written as her mind played back to what had taken place earlier. No, she wasn't thinking about the shaman or if he would blow her cover. She was more concerned about those spells he uttered.
She felt like he knew her. He knew something she doesn't and it unerve her. Aurora kissed her teeth in annoyance and move to the next page as she kept wondering in her scattered thoughts.
'Why did those spell, sound so familiar?' she wondered. Although she hated history class but she could swear she had never heard the teacher utter that out. The spell was almost like a memory and she was yet to fathom who's memory it is.
It felt like - those spells were hers.
And he knew that.
She closed the book in annoyance before the bead of sweats that had started to form get a chance of dropping into it. Instead it hit the book hardcover.
Aurora breath hitched.
