Chapter 3 - CHAPTER -3 KILLING ZOMBIES

As Arlo proceeded to explore the first floor, he encountered no signs of zombies. However, upon reaching the second floor, he witnessed a lady desperately struggling against a hotel staff member turned zombie. Swiftly intervening, he approached her and assured, "Just hold on," before forcefully dispatching the undead creature.

Concerned for her well-being, Arlo inquired, "Are you alright? Did you sustain any bites? Please check yourself."

The lady examined herself and responded confidently, "No, thankfully I was not bitten. Thank you for arriving just in time to save me."

Arlo then asked, "Are you accompanied by anyone?"

She replied, somewhat startled, "I have my younger sister in our room."

Arlo proposed, "Allow me to escort you to your room first, and then I will assess the survival status of others."

Surprised, she exclaimed, "Are you out of your mind? Do you intend to explore this hotel alone?"

Arlo smiled reassuringly and replied, "Do not worry. I do not have anyone to look after, so I am undertaking this task to ensure everyone's safety."

Arlo accompanied the lady to her room and instructed her, "Wait inside, and I will contact you again."

The lady nodded and cautiously entered her room. Her little sister, filled with concern, anxiously embraced her. "Big sister, are you okay?"

The lady reassured her, "I am fine. A kind stranger saved me. I hope he is safe as well."

Meanwhile, Arlo continued his exploration of the corridors. Approaching the doors of the guest rooms, he addressed the occupants, "If you are still alive, please remain indoors. I am eliminating the threats. Please wait inside, and I will return to inform you. If anyone wishes to assist, please come outside."

Proceeding to the third floor, Arlo encountered two zombies and another staff member named Hrithik.

With a smile, Arlo remarked, "I did not expect you to survive."

Angrily, Hrithik retorted, "Arlo, you are no longer my friend."

Arlo responded, "Alright, alright. Now, help me dispose of these corpses from the rooftop."

Together, they removed the zombie remains from the roof, tossing them behind the hotel. They then meticulously searched each room, from top to bottom, instructing the guests to gather in the dining hall on the ground floor for a discussion about the situation.

While on the second floor, Arlo suddenly instructed Hrithik, "Please gather the remaining guests listed. I will be back."

Curiously, Hrithik inquired, "Why? I can wait for you here. What is so important that you must attend to?"

Arlo replied, "It is a promise I made to someone. I will search for her once everything is under control."

Hrithik smiled and remarked, "I see. Take care, Arlo. The world has gone mad."

Arlo nodded, leaving Hrithik to gather the rest of the guests.

In Room 204, the two sisters engaged in conversation.

"Big sister, when will the uncle return?"

"He will be back soon. Just be patient."

The older sister thought to herself, "I hope he is safe. If not, it will be challenging for me to manage this hotel alone and provide food for us."

Suddenly, they heard a knock at the door, accompanied by a voice, "Hey, everything is now under control. I have eliminated all the zombies. I am gathering all the guests on the ground floor to address the situation. Would you like to join?"

Cautiously, the lady opened the door and asked, "You are not bitten, are you?"

Arlo frowned and replied, "No, I am not. However, it seems rather impolite to treat someone who saved your life in such a manner."

She retorted, "You are neither my boyfriend nor my relative, so I do not believe I am obligated to speak politely to you."

Arlo, furious, responded, "Very well. It was my mistake to save you. Rest assured, I will not make that mistake again." He then departed.

Arlo thought to himself, "Just like other girls, she is no different."

He proceeded to the dining hall, where he reunited with Hrithik, awaiting the arrival of the guests.

Meanwhile, in Room 204, the conversation between the sisters continued.

"Sakshi, why did you treat that uncle so poorly?"

Sakshi replied, "You will understand when you grow up."

Sakshi instructed her younger sister, "Diti, get ready. We need to go downstairs."

Sakshi, a beautiful young lady in her twenties and an Instagram influencer, only had her sister Diti as family. They had come to Delhi for a holiday, never anticipating the chaos that would ensue.

Sakshi thought to herself, "It is fortunate that he eliminated those creatures. For now, we are safe. If he had failed, it would have been incredibly difficult for me."

She picked up the same lamp Arlo had used to kill the zombies in her room and descended to the ground floor with her sister.
