"What the fuck dude? You gave him the family treasure watch and yet you don't even know where the hell he comes from? That thing is supposed to be given to your own son. Everyone knows that." Seth unbelievably told Sebastian later after they were settled in their grandma's house. After spending their time in Maasai Mara for a week, they had decided instead of visiting some other place, they should just visit their grandma on their second week so they could decide what to do with their other week. Their grandma in Kenya lived in Eldoret and that's how they had found themselves in Grace's boutique that morning before the proceded to their grandma's.
"Hey, watch your tone brother. Last time I checked no one decides for me the things I do. And that kid not being my son, well, you don't know about that either, so please spare me the lecture." Sebastian answered Seth, feeling bored already.
"Really? And how can a kid you just met today be your son Seb? I mean, come on, you just met the mom last week in Maasai Mara at the hotel. Well, yeah of course we still don't know if you guys did the did coz you refused to tell us shit, but even if you did, it couldn't be possible that she immediately got pregnant and gave birth to a six year old kid just within a week. " Seth explained getting exasperated by the fact that Sebastian didn't want to talk straight things.
"Sese, please, can you ever stop meddling too much into my business. I know am your elder brother and you look upto me but come on, you don't have to look into my business too." Sebastian answered while shaking his head.
"And where's the fun in just looking up to you and not look into your business? But seriously, that isn't even your business. That watch is our family's business and we must look into it. So you still gotta explain why you would just carelessly give out to some kid." Seth couldn't give just yet. He wanted Sebastian to talk.
" You know what kid bro? Whether you like it or not that kid is gonna be Sir. Parker The Fourth and you better start getting used to that idea as early as now lest you get a Randy shock when the time comes." Sebastian answered while smirking at him, making him just shake his head speechlessly.
"Mmmh, so his name is Randy. You know that boy truly resembles you Seb. His eyes, his nose, his hairline, his eyes, the shape of his lips, and even the shape of his face. The only difference is that his hair isn't as soft as yours and maybe also his skin which is a little bit darker than yours, which we can say that's because his mom is a dark skinned. Or what do you guys think? " Samuel who had been just watching Seth and Sebastian argue also decided to comment. He wasn't lying though, coz truly Brandon resembled Sebastian so much. Anyone who didn't know would just assume Brandon was his son but then he wasn't.
" Exactly my thoughts. I almost thought my eyes lied to me, but at least someone else saw it too." Audrey who had also been quiet since she couldn't comment on their family business, finally decided to comment too.
"Well, I hate to admit it but you guys are right about that. Did you by chance do something you didn't tell us big bro?" Seth was back to Sebastian again.
"You guys are becoming too much with this young boy's issue. Can you please give me a break?" Sebastian said as he rolled his eyes.
"Okay, enough of the son then. Let's talk about the mother. What's her name? You two would definitely make a good couple if you decide to be one." Seth couldn't just stop teasing Sebastian.
"For one, I don't know her name. And two, you should refrain from trying to picture me with women. And three, you are becoming too much. Lol." Sebastian answered chuckling then bit his lip as he imagined how they truly would look with his black pearl. How he hadn't even thought to ask her name is what surprised him. Not even for a second had he thought of asking her name and funny enough she didn't care to ask too. They had just kept calling themselves nicknames and he wouldn't deny that he loved it when she called him HotStuff. It made his stomach churn warmly. Maybe the next time, if God allows them to meet, he was going to ask for her name and maybe her contact. That way he'll have a way to reach her.
"You surely like this one, this time round. I mean look at your face as you are already think about her. You're literally about to smile like a small kid. Come on, give us the name already. " Samuel commented smirking and Sebastian just laughed lightly.
"Well, it's so unfortunate that I don't even know her name. I kinda nicknamed her The Black Pearl though." Sebastian answered freely this time round not trying to hide anything.
"You gotta be joking. This is the second time you meet and you still haven't asked for her name?" Audrey asked him unbelievably.
"So unfortunate, but yes. I haven't asked for her name yet." Sebastian answered then leaned back on the coach that he was sitting on.
"Which means you also don't have her contact then." Seth commented as he shook his head not believing how his brother was weird.
"Unfortunately, yes brother. I don't have her contact too." Sebastian answered him as he smiled, knowing they probably thought he was weird or maybe stupid not to get a girl's contact or even a name.
"And how are you planning to me her then? You should have even put a tracker on that watch. That way you would have found her easily. Haha" Samuel suggested while laughing, knowing his idea sounded improper.
"Don't be a creep, Sammy. Why would I invade someone's privacy like that? I know am weird but, I definitely ain't that creepy to an extent of tracking someone. Nah, not me." Sebastian commented truthfully.
"So how do you plan to meet her?" Audrey couldn't help but ask.
"Well, they say God's problems require God's solutions. So worry not, coz this is a God problem and he'll provide his own solutions. I'll definitely meet again." Sebastian said while having faith that God was going to let him meet his black pearl again.
"Mmh I see. Anyway the lady is pretty and cool by the way. I think I like her. She isn't too mouthy like the one they were with." Samuel commented referring to Grace as mouthy.
"Aa-ha, talking of the other lady, what was up with you too? You almost cut each other's throats." Seth told Samuel as he chuckled.
"Yeah. I was wondering too. Sammy has never been the arguing type. Especially not with a woman." Audrey seconded Seth as she chuckled too.
"I know, but she was just too much and I had to give her my piece of mind." Samuel said as he sighed recalling how Grace had exasperated him.
"You even insulted her. Come on Sammy. That isn't so you." Sebastian also added as he shook his head.
"I know, but I was trying to save your ass dude. Y'all just kept mute all through and the was that woman was something else." Samuel said, starting to feel aggravated just by the thought of her.
"But I think I like how fierce she is. I would have made her my friend if I had found a chance to talk to her." Audrey said as she smiled warmly. She had truly admired how bold she was and how she stood up for herself. It was something worth liking.
"Lol, women. I will choose to say nothing." Samuel smirked at Audrey's comment not wanting to admit how he didn't for a moment like Grace.
"Haha, and why you are you guys forgetting the barking man. Who was he anyway? The boy's father? They don't even look alike." Seth commented while laughing.
"No he isn't his father." Sebastian answered him immediately. It kind of didn't sit well with him to hear that Jason was Brandon father. "I am told he's black pearl's boyfriend." He added after a little pause.
"Seems you don't like the sound of him being the kid's dad. Haha anyway if you really like that black pearl, how are you going to make her feel the same yet she has a boyfriend?" Seth couldn't stop his nose from poking into Sebastian's business no matter what.
" Didn't I tell you just a few mins ago? A God's problem requires a God's solution. So whether she had a boyfriend, a babydaddy, a fiance or a husband, it's definitely none of my business but God's. And by the way, am outta here. Gotta go check out grandma's farm. " Sebastian said meaning every bit of what he said as he headed out of the house while the rest just remained behind wondering what was all about him insisting that him and the black pearl was God's business. Was there something he wasn't telling them? Knowing who Sebastian was, they were sure, their must have been something he was hiding and not telling them. If only they knew what that was, then they would probably have known what was going on. However they were happy that finally in a long time Sebastian was opening his heart to like someone. It had been seven years and Sebastian had never ever showed any sign of liking someone. They had even be worried but seeing him like someone was something. Maybe the black pearl was truly a God sent to him. Nevertheless, they knew time would tell and reveal everything. They just had to wait.
