"You haven't left." Julie stated nonchalantly as she sat herself opposite where Jason was seated while looking so nervous.
"I couldn't leave before I apologized for what I did." Jason answered regretfully that he couldn't even look at Julie's face. He was shameful at what he had done.
"Mmh," Julie grunted in response as she crossed her arms while leaning on the coach, waiting for him to explain himself.
"I know I messed up. I shouldn't have been that aggressive with Brandon like that. I was so jealous that you didn't react to that guy like I had expected. You know, get angry at him for talking to Brand. And the fact that we hadn't solved the last issue we had which was also because of him aggravated me the more, making me impose my anger on Brand. I know don't have any excuse for my behavior and I really want to apologize Julie. I know I really messed up big time by overstepping, but I'd like to ask you to forgive me. I am so guilty right now and I don't even know how am gonna face Brandon again, knowing that I hurt him physically and also emotionally. I am sincerely sorry for what I did and I don't expect you to forgive me at all but just know I really mean it and I still want us together. I don't even know if I can bare the thought of loosing you because of my stupid mistakes. I'd never forgive myself for that. I am really sorry Julie. " Jason apologized profusely, feeling so shameful for his stupid mistakes. He didn't even know if Julie was ever going to forgive him but he was sincerely apologetic. He had regretted his action. Now, he even thought that Julie might break up with him. He had stepped the most sensitive part of hers and now he feared to hear Julie pronounce what he dreaded the most especially now that she remained quiet after he his apologies.
"You're forgiven." Julie answered calmly after some moments of thinking hard and studying him. She knew he was being sincere. He truly regretted his actions and she could see his sincerity. One thing about her, Julie was a person who forgave instantly. Her anger always disappeared so fast just as it had come. And the moment it disappeared, she'd forgive instantly even before you asked for forgiveness. It's a virtue she always thanked God for. It had made her heart free. Free from any grudges and burdens. And that's why after Jason apologized profusely, she didn't see any reason of not forgiving him. After she wasn't perfect either. She had her flaws that probably needed forgiveness too, so she decided she wouldn't hold it against him. Besides, she didn't think the issue was worth breaking off their new relationship. Maybe she'd just have to really take time and get to know Jason more. But one thing she was now sure of, was that Jason was a jealous freak. And she wondered how she was ever going to learn to get used to that and not get herself in situations that would awake his jealousy. Seems she had a lot to work on.
"Wait, what? Are you for real?" Jason asked in surprise not believing that Julie was truly forgiving him just like that, without quarreling or even trying to hit him again. He had prepared for all that, but she had definitely surprised him by just being so calm and accepting his apology without any argument.
"I've never been unreal with forgiving anyone Jason.I don't know about Brandon though, I guess you'll have to look for a way to appease him and get him trust you again." She told him sternly.
"You are right. I'll have to look for a way to show him how sorry I am. Thank you for forgiving me though." Jason said sighing in relief but also wondering what he was ever gonna do to make Brandon trust him again.
"You're welcome. You gotta work on you jealousy issues though. It's close to being psychotic and I don't know if I have the strength to handle it every time." Julie answered truthfully. If his jealous had drove him to being aggressive to a kid then obviously, that was something close to psychotic and he'd better know it. Jason seemed so relieved by that statement though. Her mentioning about not being able to handle it everytime meant that she wasn't breaking up with him. That was a relief. At least she was still stuck with him and that made him his shoulders free from the burden of worry that he had been carrying. Now he only had to start working on his jealousy issues before he lost her for real.
" I know. And am truly sorry. I'll try my best to tame it coz I honestly don't wanna loose you." He answered as he studied her face studying her expression but she was calm.
"It's okay I understand. I suppose I also made a mistake the other time. I mean I literally was flirting with the guy, and called him hostuff in your presence and also lied to your face about his t-shirt. Honestly you somehow had the right to be jealous since I also went too far. So I guess I am sorry about that too. And sorry about hitting you also. I was loosing my mind." Julie apologized sincerely. She knew she shouldn't have openly flirted with Hotstuff in front of Jason. He was her boyfriend and the least she could do was give him some respect not flirt openly with other guys. However much, she didn't know, at that moment, what was the mystery about her and Hostuff, she was still going to stick to Jason and made sure she tried her best not to put him in a situation where he'd have to be so jealous. However though, she wasn't going to tell Jason about everything that was going on about Hostuff. She'd just keep it between her and Grace until they had solved the mystery. That way, they were both gonna date in peace.
"It's okay Julie. If you forgave me for what I did, then I guess I'll have to forgive you too. Just try not to openly flirt with other guys in my presence. And you should keep me posted the next time you want to hit me. " Jason answered while smirking.
"Ha, I'll keep that in mind." Julie answered smirking too.
"I am relieved to hear that. So since all is well, I guess I gotta take my leave now." Jason said while getting up from his seat and straightened his coat.
"Hey, it's already 9pm and I don't think it's wise for you to leave. I mean what type of a girlfriend would I be if I let you drive back to kisumu at this hour yet I have so many extra rooms in this mansion?" Julie said as she got up to stop him from leaving. She knew that probably Jason wanted to leave because he wasn't sure if she was okay with him spending the night over after their argument. So she told him that to make him be sure that she nolonger had any problem and he could spend the night if he wanted.
"Are you sure about that?" Jason asked as he walked to stand before her.
"Yes I am. You can take the room you've always been staying everytime you are here." She urged him as he looked up at his handsome face. Jason had been her friend for the longest time before they even dated, and he had always visited, so he definitely had a room in Julie mansion and he would always occupy it every time he was around. The first time he had came, Julie had asked him to choose a room he'd like to be staying in, everytime he had visited and he had chose a super spacious guest room that was on the first floor, just below Grace, Julie and Brandon's floor.
"You know you are so amazing, right?" Jason whispered seductively closing the distance that was between them and wrapped his hands around her waits then pulled him closer to him until their bodies were fully touching each other.
"Am I now?" Julie purred seductively too, trying to pretend that she wasn't feeling shivers running down her spine caused by Jason's close proximity and how intently he was looking at her lips at that moment.
"Of course, you wouldn't know. But let me make you." Jason whispered into her ears, making the shivers down her spine intensify. She didn't know she could feel such with Jason and before she even processed her feelings, Jason went for her lips, kissing her passionately, that for the first time, she felt how tender and warm his lips were. The last time they had kissed, she had been shocked and she had felt weird after the kiss, but now as he kissed him, it was the other way round. She was enjoying it, that she even kissed him back, which seem to have given Jason some motivation on deepening the kiss and which she responded passionately. She was definitely enjoying it, and Jason felt as if he was out of his world. He hadn't expected Julie to reciprocate his kiss but she finally had!
"Mmmh mmmmh Mmmh." Someone cleared their throat loudly, behind them, making Julie break the kiss with a jolt.
"Raymond," Julie called out trying to get back her breath. It was her head security guy who also happened to be her personal body guard that had walked into their make out session.
"Sorry to interrupt. I didn't know you were busy." Raymond apologized with a smug on his face, not even being close to sincere and Julie knew it. He had probably enjoyed the scene, which explained the goofy smug he had on his face as he held his hands behind him.
" Hey, you go settle in your room and probably freshen up. Lemme talk with Raymond here, and after that you'll find me in the kitchen helping out Grace with dinner, okay?" Julie urged Jason which he nodded in agreement and left the living room heading upstairs to his room.
" Ray. " Julie called warningly after she realized that he still had that goofy smug on his face.
" What? I didn't even see anything, well apart from the part where you were almost literally eating up each other's lips of course. But I won't deny that am glad someone is finally sweeping you off your feet after all these years." Raymond said jokingly as he grinned goofily at her. He was happy for his boss who had somehow turned into a friend after years of serving her. He was among the people who had been eagerly waiting and praying for Julie to fall in love again. She had been nothing but kind and loving towards him and not him alone but all her workers. So she honestly deserved the best.
"You are something else and since I don't have the strength to argue with you now, I'd have to ask you why you are here." Julie said in surrender knowing that she had nothing to defend herself with. Besides, she didn't want to assure Raymond about her relationship with Jason yet. At least not until she herself was sure that it was gonna work.
" I'd let it slide for today. As to why am here, Grace told me there's a watch you wanted me to check if it has a tracker?" Raymond inquired letting Jason and Julie's issues slide.
"Yeah sure. Just go upstairs to Brandon's room and take it with you. It's on the table. " Julie urged him. He was one of his trusted people, that she'd always let him enter any room he wanted in their mansion. Which is why she just instructed him to go to Brandon's room.
" Alright. I'll give you the feed back tomorrow morning. " Raymond promised and Julie nodded as she turned to take her leave but Raymond stopped her. " Hey, just asking. Are you really serious with him?" He asked in a low tone referring to Jason and Julie chuckled at his nosy behavior. She knew it was out of good will though. He cared about her and he wouldn't want her making mistakes.
"I don't know Ray. Time will tell. But I'll also advise you not to worry about it." Julie answered while chuckling then immediately turned and walked away hurriedly before, he could make another comment.
