Chereads / If These Walls Could Talk 2: Brian / Chapter 52 - 52 Dance with me

Chapter 52 - 52 Dance with me

Me and a few others got to work as the photographer took pictures of the newly wedded couple. We moved the chairs to accommodate the tables being moved in and set up for people to be able to eat at, as they all gathered to get drinks from the bartenders working. It was a good thing that Lirael's place was on a little over two acres of land here in town. Otherwise, this would have been a tight fit for everything.

It wasn't long before everything had been set up and the photographer was asking for the rest of the bridal party to join for more pictures. Sarina stood off to the side, a small basket of waters in her hands as she waited for us to be told to step aside. She handed Lance and I a bottle each while Lirael and her bridal party took pictures. Big daddy smiling and standing proudly next to her for the family pictures.

"Is there no more family of yours here that you'd like to take a picture with?" The photographer asks Lirael.

"I don't ..." She starts off, awkwardly trying to explain that there was no family of hers to take pictures with her.

"Well, I was on the grooms side also, but of course I'll take pictures with my sister." I step forward and Lirael's eyes tear up at me before she opens her arms to allow me to hug her.

"I'm going with what you said for pictures although we'd be really weird brother and sister, you know that?" She whispered quickly into my ear.

"Aww, I love you too, sis." I say as we pose for the camera, taking a few more before we are released to join the guests and get a plate of food. Sarina, however, had made sure that all of us, had a plate already made and kept warm at the bride and grooms table.

"You are beautiful, you know that?" I smile as I wrap my hands around Sarina's waist after we've finished eating.

She smirks, cocking a brow at me and leans in to whisper, "I do now. Here I thought, you'd still be mad about something in your pocket." She chuckles, placing a light kiss on my cheek.

My hands tighten around her waist, holding her in place as I firmly but lightheartedly tell her, "Oh, I've not forgotten, my dear. Would you care to dance with me?" The question catches her off guard as I begin to move in cautious but lazy circles to the temporary dance floor area, moving her with me.

She flops her mouth open and closed a few times, suppressing the smile that threatens to break free. Her eyes quickly drop to the ground when we step on the wooden dance floor and then return to my face. "Believe it or not, I don't know how to do more than the dinner plate dance."

Her awkward and nervous chuckle reveal that to most likely be true, but I remind her.

"Oh, than what was that on my birthday?" I ask nonchalantly, dancing slowly with her and a few others that shared the dance floor at the moment.

Her eyes widen and her cheeks glow, "That was a different thing altogether. I mean to say, I don't know how to formally dance." She says the last bit through gritted teeth, unwilling to drop the forced smile she had plastered on her face at the moment.

Guffawing at her cute little attitude and rosy glow of her cheeks, I whisper, "You're doing fine right now. I believe you are almost ready for me to twirl you?" I wink at her, letting my one hand hold her at arms length and spin her into my other arm to hold her back close to my front for a moment before I spin her back to face me.

Her excited giggle has me twirl her again with ease and back into my arms.

"I love you." She giggles out and my heart stops.

Her eyes widen as she realizes what she just said.

Smiling, I lean closer to her face and whisper, "I love you too, Sarina." Placing a chaste, lingering kiss on her lips as we continue to dance, eyes closed, savoring this moment.

"Brian?" She asks hesitantly, forcing me to open my eyes.

"Yes, my love?" I ask her, unable to wipe the smile from my face.

She leans closer to my shoulder, laying her head on it to whisper in my ear, "I need you."

"Right now?" I chuckle.

"Yes." Her breathless word filled with longing makes my cock twitch to life. "I'm so wet right now.... I'm afraid people will hear me when I walk." She says into my ear, making me bite my lip and groan softly.

I calm myself with a deep breath and say lowly, pulling her a little closer to me, "Keep teasing me and it's only going to make me want to check your apprehensions and test it out."

The hitch in her breath has me smiling, knowing she was turned on at the thought and mortified at the same time. Chuckling, I pull back to look into her eyes, brushing a strand of her golden locks behind her ear, letting my thumb caress her cheek as I do. She leans into my palm, fluttering her eyes closed, enjoying the sensation of my touch.

I keep her close, holding her waist as her hand reaches up for mine as we continue to dance. After moving around the dance floor for a minute, I smirk. "Either you're that slick, or I don't think you need to worry about anyone hearing how wet you are."

She turns three different colors before muttering, "Ass." as she lowers her gaze.

"What? Why?" I let my eyes widen and jaw drop in mock shock, "I just wanted to reassure you that you have nothing to worry about."

She rolls her eyes at me and I give her a wink. The next second the DJ is announcing the next event, the tossing of the garter and bouquet.

"Yo, Brian!" Scott and Simon come up and ask, "We're taking bets on if she's wearing underwear or not. You want to place your bet?"

Sarina inquires, "What's the payout odds?"

Simon smiles, "50/1 for she has underwear on and 5/4 if she's not. You want to place a bet?"

Sarina scoffs, "Wow, what's everyone picking?"

Scott chimes in, "Everyone is picking she's not, but we have had two place bets on she is."

Sarina nods, "Okay, I've got fifty on she is wearing underwear." She pulls from a pocket some cash, handing over fifty dollars to them, as they hand her a ticket and mark her down on a paper.

"Wow, that will be a nice payout if you win." Scott whistles. "You'd win twenty-five hundred."

Sarina smiles, "Yes that would be nice. Guess we will find out in a minute if I won anything?" She cocks a brow at them, smiling.

I pull out some cash myself and hand it over, "I'll do fifty as well but that she's not. "

Simon takes my money and Scott informs me that I'd win one hundred and twelve dollars. Happy with either us being able to win something to go home with, I steer us off the dance floor that's being set up for the garter belt and bouquet toss. Simon and Scott rush around getting last minute bets in as the DJ calls out to the crowd that it's time.

Lirael takes a seat on the chair in the middle of the dance floor, giggling as Lance dances like he's Christopher Walken in the Fatboy Slim video. He has everyone cracking up as he makes his way to her and then drops to his knees and crawls towards the hem of her dress.

"Woo hoo! Don't forget to come back out of there!" My dad of all people shouts at Lance as he disappears under the dress skirt. The men all guffaw as my mother covers her face mortified along with Beth, Lance's mom.

"Robert!" My mom chastises him, "I swear, sometimes I think you're still a teenager." She shakes her head and rolls her eyes as Lance back out from under the dress, garter belt in his mouth. He stands up and throws his thumb up in the air, making Simon and Scott's mouth's drop open and their eyes resembling cartoon drawings they were so wide.

There were some people who were grumbling and muttering about something. Scott and Simon approach us and congratulate Sarina. " Congrats, you, big daddy, and Brittany are the only ones who betted on her wearing them. Give us about twenty minutes and we will get you guys your winnings."

"Brittany? Are you talking about my mom?" I ask them, scanning the crowd and concluding that she is the only person here with that name.

Simon gives me a sly smile, "Dude, your mom is one of the highest bidders. She just won over six G's."

My moms smug face comes into view, crossing her arms, "Give it to the bride and groom. I used their money I was going to give them to make the bet anyways."
