Shao hurriedly drove him to the nearby hospital. "I'm telling you this is karma for bullying that kid,"
"Mnnn shut up will you," Muchen tightly clutched his stomach. He did not know why but when the moment he saw Yunfeng crying he felt a surge in his stomach. The pain started to get worse after that. 'Why is it hurting so much? Oh god..." he cried softly.
"Just wait a bit buddy. We are here,"
"Then why aren't we in?" he glared up at him.
"I'm searching for a parking spot," Shao started to sweat from anxiety. Ever since he had agreed to be this guy's agent, he had been taking care of his lively hood. And he had to admit it was kind of a tough one. But Muchen never got sick so he never had to worry about that. but suddenly seeing him rolling over in pain he could not stay calm.
"There!" he swiftly parked his car. "Wait, your mask," he pulled a mask from the glove box and put it on Muchen's face. "it's going to be fine, okay," he helped him out and into the hospital er.
A nurse came to them immediately. "Hi, welcome to the ER what seems to be the problem today."
"His... his stomach hurts." He pulled Muchen close to him.
"Okay sir can you fill this out, please? I'll have a doctor check him out as soon as a bed is available."
Shao anxiously glanced up at her. "He is in too much pain. can't he get admitted now?"
"Sir, earlier we had an accident so all the beds are full. I'll let you know when the beds are free. The wait time won't be long," she assured him with a smile and went back to her station.
Shao wiped Muchen's forehead. "it's most likely appendicitis. Oh god, I must be because of all the stress you've been through,"
"Shut up…" Muchen pushed his hand away. Weirdly Shao's touch made him feel an intense sense of repulsion.
"Here, have some water," Shao held his shoulders.
"don't touch me, Muchen laid down on the connected seat protecting his stomach.
"God…." He anxiously gazed at the nurse. The young lady just smiled but didn't give him any assurance.
The nurse sighed softly. She was a new hire, fresh out of college so she had no clue how to deal with situations like this. She called her senior nurse. "Is there any bed free?"
"Nope, not for another hour. Why?"
"Some guy came in here with an intense stomach ache." She informed her about his condition.
"It's better to send him off to get a scan. We can treat him easily then,"
"Good, I'll let them know," she picked up the file the patient had filled. Upon seeing the name, she froze. "Ren Muchen? As in the Muchen?"
A closer look at the patient gave her a clear understanding.
It was Ren Muchen.
THE Ren Muchen!
She put on a nervous smile and informed Muchen's friend to head to the scan area. They bowed and left.
Standing behind the counter, she let out a loud squeal.
"oh my god..." she instantly called her friend.
A groggy voice answered the call. "it's not my shift yet, so don't call. Bitch bye."
"Wait its Muchen. He is here."
"What!" followed by a clattering sound. "Are you joking right now? It's the middle of the day. it's my sleep time, girl don't you dare play with me."
"I'm not," the little nurse jumped around in glee. "He is here for his stomach pain. Wonder what is wrong with him,"
After the scans were done, she volunteered to pick them up.
A bed-haired woman ran up to her. "Where is he?"
The little nurse pulled her friend over to the stairs. "He is on the fourth ward. Oh my god, he looks so handsome in real life. and he is so polite not like the rumors at all."
"I knew it was all fake. We have to protect him at all costs." The woman's eyes fell on the folder in her hand. "Is that his report?"
"Yeah, I just picked it up. Eeeep I can't believe I am holding his personal file in hand… wonder if his liver and kidneys look. Ohh, I want to know what his heart looks like…"
"Give that here," she hurriedly opened it and took a look.
"Hey, we can't do that. its personal file and it can't be leaked you must do that…"
Soon her friend's smile turned into a frown. "He has a tumor."
"What?" she pulled the reports. The scans clearly indicated that he had a tumor close to his intestines. "Fuck it's big."
Her friend plucked it from her hand. "it... it's shaped weirdly. doesn't it resemble a….I might be wrong"
"This is just a tumor right…. god I hope it's not cancerous." The nurse sighed and placed the reports in. "the doctor is waiting for this. I've got to go. Don't you dare release this info to anyone else? Or else I will kill you in your sleep, girl."
"Yeah, yeah,"
The nurse casually handed the report to the doctor as she had expected the doctor frowned.
"What is it doctor?" she anxiously held Muchen's sweaty hands.
"We are not sure. But it does look like a tumor. Let's double-check it after getting an ultrasound." The doctor handed the document to the nurse. "Please guide them there."
Muchen was moved in a wheelchair to the ultrasound room.
the doctor checked him thoroughly but his frown only got deeper as time went.
"Is that even a tumor?" he mumbled, scratching his head. Soon he went out of the scan room to call someone.
A few more doctors came in to check. The senior doctor looked at the ultra sound carefully and shook his head. "We might need a biopsy,"
"Is it that bad?" Shao started to cry.
"We don't know what this is sir. We will get a clear look at it when we get a biopsy sample."
Muchen, who was rolling around in pain suddenly started to feel numb. The pain receded without a warning. "Huh…" he touched his flat tummy. "it's not hurting anymore."
After the doctors left Muchen secretly instructed Shao to get a discharge. He did not wish to get it checked up. just the thought of someone cutting into him brought an intense shudder.
'I'm… dying?'….'
