"I don't drink coffee." Daniel said once alone with Fahsai. She remembered that from Japan and proceeded to make tea for him instead.
"I came back for you." He added.
"Oh really? Then why did you pretend not to know me." Fahsai, a little pissy, questioned him.
"I'll only endanger the people I came in contact with and for the people I spend a 'necessary' few days with." He surmised as he peered down at her.
"What am I to you then?" Fahsai questioned.
"Someone who I am grateful towards. I heard you are getting unemployed because an investor pulled out, so I partnered with khun Ramet, which means you'll continue to have work. Now that debts are repaid, we are just...other people." He replied.
Tears welled up in her eyes.
"You're correct. We don't know each other. My apologies for the mixup." She conceded and turned to leave bur paused before imparting. "Your necklace is with me. Do let me know when and where you'd like it back Khun Daniel." She emphasized on his name.
He stopped her. "Where's my tea?"
Fahsai pulled her hand away. "I'll fetch an ICE COLD tea for him, you ought to like that."
Back at her desk, Fahsai mocked him. "He's just an asshole. He kissed me and then pretended like that was nothing. Yeah sure." She sighed deeply and tossed her novel outline into the garbage.
"No, it would be a waste." She fished it back out.
Big Sis stormed in to discuss about the new investor but finally realized Fahsai's grumpy face.
"He's Mr. Giant." Fahsai muttered.
"What!" Big Sis squealed in disbelief. "I'm so happy for you."
"He has changed, he's not the same giant I knew before." Fahsai said.
Later, Fai, Big Sis noticed the right hand man as she ascended the stairs.
"Hey you! Why must your Boss act all cold to my friend?"
"It's not an act nor is he pulling a prank." The right hand man said.
"If he truly didn't care for her then he wouldn't have vested interest in the company.
"Ask him yourself." He responded.
"It would be such a shame to reveal to the public 'everything' I have seen of him." Big Sis, didn't want to let it go that easily when she had a nice bite to something.
"Everything the Boss does is for her sake." He relented and she appeared appeased at that moment only.
"Thanks for saving us." The Chief thanked Daniel profusely.
"I have one woman to thank for that." He said and Fahsai peered at him. "My mother, she's a fan of LOLA." He said and Fahsai looked away, upset. Daniel gave her one last glance before turning to his car. As his car turned around a bend, Gang Suer Khao noted Daniel in it and reported it to his Boss. Chanming knew Daniel couldn't stay away for long. He ordered his right hand man, Tiang Kong to do further snooping.
"I feel my husband is lying about using the money to fix up the house." Fahsai's mother confided in her friend.
"Men can't be trusted. He might be having a mistress." Her friend thought.
Chanming sent his regard to Fahsai with a cheque of one hundred dollars and a single white rose.
"I'm sorry but I can't accept your offer." She declined and returned the cheque.
"I just need a moment of your time, please." Chanming pleaded. "Take a look at my brother first before you decline the job."
She finally agreed, but not before taking a picture of him and his plate number and sending it to her friend.
Later on, Fahsai entered the tiger's liar. She met Big Bro, who immediately got a flashback of Botan's face. In his flashback, a hand circled Botan's throat and out of fright, Big Bro threw his arms around Fahsai's hip, crying and screaming "Botan." Fahsai freaked out and recoiled from the man.
"I'm sorry, he thinks you're someone he used to know, you just look exactly like her." Chanming apologized causing distress. "Big bro hated her the most and that's why he acted out that way. Also, I wanted you to meet my brother so that you could see for yourself what Daniel did to him." He explained.
"Mmh?"
"Daniel and I were best friends until Daniel killed my father and did that to my brother."
"Do you have proof?" She questioned.
"I don't need one. Isn't it obvious that he is obsessed with power and wants to keep gang Suer Khao right beneath his gang, Mungkorn Thong?"
"Does that explain the noose drawing in my journal? Does it pertain to your dad and brother's murder attempt?"
"It may be hard for you to believe that Daniel is cruel, because at first I couldn't believe it either, but then it happened to my family. I'm sure now that Daniel is capable of doing anything to get what he wants, including killing his own love."
"Daniel killed Botan, the woman whom he loved wholeheartedly." He added.
"Why would he do such a thing?" Fahsai questioned.
"He wanted to prove that he could be a leader. He's getting involved with you now because you look like Botan and I don't want you to end up like the dead girl. You can trust me and stay away from Daniel." He replied.
