Chapter 22 - Custom Order

After Tang Yin left the pavilion, he went to an inn. This inn was called Liu's Wine. According to his knowledge, Liu's Wine belonged to the Liu Family, they were just a small family, and they could only last till now because of the income they had received from their numerous businesses.

Tang Yin had chosen this inn because it did not belong to any of the 3 main families in Maple Leaf City. He wanted to be low-key and raise his cultivation in secret, when the time came, he would reveal his powerful cultivation and destroy the Shan Family.

Now that Tang Yin had 1,000 taels of gold, he could afford to stay in this inn for many years. However, he would not do that, he would raise his cultivation as fast and silently as possible. After destroying the Shan Family, he would plan his next course of action and location.

But all of this was far ahead in the future, currently Tang Yin only needed to raise his cultivation and be as low key as possible. He had given the inn keeper a tael of gold to rent this room for 6 months, this in truth would only cost 6 taels of silver, but Tang Yin had tipped the inn keeper with the rest of the tael of gold to erase him from his memory. The inn keeper would keep his mouth shut, he had never met a person with red hair and a handsome face in his life.

Tang Yin sat atop his bed in his room and stared at the 9 Spirit Stones before him, after multiple calculations, he had decided not to absorb the Spirit Stones in front of him for 2 reasons.

The first reason was that he was positive that 9 Low-Grade Spirit Stones were not enough to allow him to break into the 8th stage of the Spirit Channelling Realm. He would need around 30-40 Low-Grade Spirit Stones to have enough energy within his body to break through to the 8th stage.

The second reason was that these Spirit Stones would not have a huge impact on his cultivation if he devoured them separately, he would need fewer Spirit Stones to break into the 8th stage if he devoured all the Spirit Stones at once when he had enough.

Thinking about this, Tang Yin let out a sigh. It was hard to get just these 9 Spirit Stones, now he had to find a method to get another 30 Low-Grade Spirit Stones. He racked his brain for a long time and came up with only a single method, to go back into Demonic Beast Mountain and find more herbs or stockpile on Demonic Beast flesh and bones.

The latter method was very feasible, and for a 7th-stage cultivator like him, it was not hard to gather a large amount of flesh and bones of Mid-Tier Rank 1 Demonic Beasts. But the amount of time he would spend was huge and he would probably only get a Low-Grade Spirit Stone for every 5 Mid-Tier Rank 1 Demonic Beasts he sold. The amount of work he would put in would not be worth the reward. He had hit a dead end again.

As for the former method, searching for herbs within the Demonic Beast Mountain was too difficult, he had only encountered the Violet Star Core herb by chance. Even if he did find a lot of herbs, there would surely be a guardian Demonic Beast.

The last guardian Demonic Beast, the 3-Eyed Black Tiger had nearly killed him, if it weren't for the Abyssal Blade devouring the red beam of light, he would have been gravely injured or even dead.

Tang Yin let out another forlorn sigh before he went to sleep. He had not devoured anything, thus, he had to get rid of his accumulated fatigue and stress by sleeping.

The next morning, Tang Yin woke up and felt refreshed, he had not had a good night's sleep in a long while. Tang Yin got up, got dressed and went out into the bustling street, he decided to skip breakfast and jump straight to business.

The streets and shops of Maple Leaf City were always bustling and busy whether it be day or night. Tang Yin walked into the most famous clothing store in the city. He had 999 taels of gold; he could afford a lot of things with this kind of money.

This store was the best clothing store in Maple Leaf City, they had everything you could imagine fashion-wise. Custom orders were also a popular option too.

Tang Yin wanted to make a custom order, he felt he was too eye catchy and flashy; he did not like it. He preferred to be low key, thus he went to make a custom order, he had ordered the clothing manager to create a black cloak that would blend into the darkness of the night, he also separately ordered a custom mask. He had ordered these 2 merchandises in mass, he had asked for multiple pairs, this was enough to keep his storage ring stuffed, but it made him feel slightly at ease. The price was not a problem either, only 30 taels of gold. To the wealthy Tang Yin, this was negligible.

Tang Yin just barely managed to fit all his spare cloaks and masks into the storage ring. Currently, he donned a pair of cloak and mask, he had also put up the hood of the cloak, and he was fully covered from head to toe in a black cloak, he looked spooky and radiated a devilishly evil air. Not a single speck of skin or hair could be seen.
