Chapter 2 - CHAPTER TWO - Annoying workers 1

In a dimly lit room, a young lady was sleeping on large bed in the center of the room. The lady was very beautiful. She had pale skin, thick long jet black hair, high cheekbone and her lips were very red as if all the blood in her body was stored there.

The lady seemed to be having a bad dream. She was sweating all over as she struggled to break free from her dream.

'Ring! Ring!!'

The sound of a ringing phone caused the sleeping beauty wake revealing a pair of sharp forest green eyes. She laid back for some time before moving to pick her phone. It turns out that the caller was her secretary.

"Good afternoon ma'am " The secretary greeted.

There was no response.

"CEO Lee your presence is urgently needed at the office. " She continued.

"Why."

"There is some issues with our lastest products. We have been charged for plagiarism by the H Tech, owned by the Howard Group of DC. "

" Handle it . "

"I already did boss but you know how sly H Tech is. They have already leaked the news. Even bribed some of those greedy old fats. Also some people are outside causing chaos. I suspect they were paid by H Tech."

"Those darn old fats." The dainty lady muttered still lying casually on the bed.

" So..... I'll see you in thirty minutes ma'am Ava? "

" Rue..." Ava called softly.

" Yes ma'am Ava? "

"You have thirty minutes. " After saying her piece, Ava ended the call leaving her secretary to deal with the mess. Rue was capable enough to deal with such little problem. After all she had been running the company for some years now.

Unable to sleep again, Ava got up from the bed and went to freshen up. She took her sweet time in the bathroom and by the time she came her tum tum was already singing. She made her way to the dinning room using the elevator.

" Good afternoon ma'am Ava. " The butler greeted her as soon as she walked out of the elevator. " Lunch is served. " He said while leading her to her special seat.

Ava said nothing as she took the seat that was drawn out for her. The dinning table was filled with various foods as if there was a feast. She ate her food quietly.

After eating smaller than usual, she order the remaining meals to be packed up and sent to the office. All the chefs and servants were worried and scared. They prepared all the favourites of their mistress but she ate only half of the food. Normally, she would finish everything but today she ate only half, HALF. They ran to the butler to plead on their behalf if they've made a mistake.
