Chapter 3 - CHAPTER THREE - Annoying workers 2

Ava Rose Lee, the current chairwoman of the biggest conglomerate in California and the granddaughter of the well known chairman of the Lee Corporation.

At 19, she had already made a name for herself in the business industry without the help of her grandfather.

In the whole of California , everyone knows how much elder Lee cherish his granddaughter even though they haven't seen her . They heard stories of how ruthless elder Lee treats anyone who disrespected his precious granddaughter. Even most of her employees and business partners haven't seen her because she rarely show up for any meeting.

Rue Yang was her assistant and representative so many people assume she is the President and she decided not to clear the issue as it would be too much hassle. She was not ready to reveal herself to the world because as the saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility and whatnot. Ava was too lazy for all that charade. She doesn't follow the rules, the rules follows her.

An ordinary looking black jaguar stopped in front of a large building which was at the center of the city. It was also the largest and tallest as well. The words Mega Rose Conglomerate (MRC) were boldly written visible for everyone to see. A pretty lady came out of the car and walked into the building.

Ava was confused as she entered the building. Yes,it was her company but she rarely visits. The last time she came here, everything was different than now. The reception hall was so large, it had like six different receptionist and employees were bustling to and fro.

Infact the whole place was busy that noone acknowledged Ava's presence so she took the liberty and walk towards the receptionist closest to her to ask for directions.

"Excuse me , I'm looking for Rue.... the CEO. Can you call and tell that Rose is here" Ava said.

The receptionist had her back facing Ava so when she heard Ava's authoritative tone she got pissed and wanted to lash out at the person but when she turned to see the rude person, she was stunned.

Ava was very pretty so when the receptionist saw she was amazed and envious at the same but when she saw how casual Ava was dressing, she became hostile.

"Who do think you are to barge in here and demand to speak with the big boss." The receptionist hollered. All these beautiful people think they can have anything they want just because they are pretty.

"Someone you aren't worthy of speaking with. " Ava replied curtly as she turned away from the lady. She brought out her phone and sent a text to Rue.

'You have five minutes to get down here or else blood will flow. '

"Just because you are pretty you think you can have your way and boss me around. Let me tell you , this is the prestigious MRC and not every Tom, Dick and Harry can enter however they like. " The receptionist said intentionally making her voice loud to draw the attention of other employees.

The other employees who were walking about stopped and started whispering not so quietly. " Look at her just because she's pretty, she thinks she's important. "

" I agree just look at how shabbily she's dressed i bet she's from a poor family. How dare step her dirty feet here. "

"Maybe she came here in hopes to seduce our CEO . Girls as pretty as she is do those kind of things. Who knows if she isn't a mistress of one of our executives maybe that's why she's acting so arrogantly. "

"Oh my... oh my goodness.! Maybe she came her after hearing that the chairman is coming." Someone said loudly making the crowd to stare at Ava with disgust.

Ava returned their stares with a bored look as she made herself comfortable on the couch closest to her.
