" STOP! ! " A loud said stopping the commotion. "What's going on here , why is there a large crowd here." A fine man claded in expensive business attire came forward.
The man was young and pretty, he had a feminine look and a suave aura that made one doubt his gender. The man was no other than Benjamin Gold , one of Ava's close persons and he was the President of one of the major branches of MRC.
The receptionist was the first person to break the silence. "President Gold , thank God you are here. This lady here is causing a scene." She pointed at Ava with a hostile look but when she looked at Benjamin there was some admiration in her eyes.
President Gold turned to look at the center of attention but was surprised to see a familiar face. He was so surprised that he stared laughing making the people around to be confused. They started whispering amongst each other.
"Sir, is anything wrong?" The receptionist asked the question that was on everyone's mind.
"Nothing is wrong but this scene is just funny. " President Gold said still laughing. "Do you know who you are pointing your finger at." He asked the receptionist.
In the midst of the confused crowd, Ava stared the laughing man calmly. " Lead the way, will you?" She ordered.
"Of course , let's go." President Gold said showing Ava the way to the presidential elevator.
Then he faced the receptionist . "Oh! By the way before you leave, go to the HR department to collect this month's salary in full . " Benjamin said leaving the receptionist and the rest in shock. "The same goes of all you who pointed fingers and wagged your tongues at her including you two." He pointed at the security guards before walking away leaving the implicated employees in a state of shock.
Like always the receptionist was the first to snap out of her shocked state. She immediately rushed over to stop Ben and Ava from leaving.
"Why should I leave sir i don't understand. I was only doing my job by chasing unwanted people away, so why should I be the one to leave. If anyone should leave then it should be her." She pointed at Ava with a vicious look in her eyes.
"Really?" Ben asked with a mocking gaze.
"Really sir don't be decieve by her pretty face. She's just a bitch who is out to seduce our CEO and cause trouble for our company. " The receptionist insisted.
" I advice you to be careful of what you say miss..." Ben stared at her name tag to know her name." Victoria Beckham, you should know that the chairlady you are talking about ..."He came closer and whispered in her ear. "Is right here." Then he left the dumbfounded Victoria and lead Ava into the Presidential elevator.
