Lucien finally acquired the Soulkeeper and with it, he resurrected Lirien within the game. But things did not go as planned. The Shadowlord, who had helped Lucien acquire the Soulkeeper, had his own agenda. He had used the opportunity to bring Lirien back to life, but not as a NPC, as a player with her own consciousness and free will.
Calian was overjoyed to see Lirien back, but she was different. She had no memory of their past together and was confused and scared by her sudden resurrection. Lirien also quickly realizes that she's not in the real world and starts to question the reality of everything.
Lucien, on the other hand, was furious. He had not expected the Shadowlord to give Lirien autonomy and saw her as a tool for his own gain. He began to plot against the Shadowlord and Lirien, determined to regain control.
As the chapter ends, Calian is torn between his love for Lirien and his loyalty to his brother. He's not sure what the future holds, but he knows that he must protect Lirien and help her navigate this new world. He also knows that he must be careful of the Shadowlord's true intentions and that he must be prepared for any eventuality.
