Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Not take much time until he tied the knot. As the scent of his perfume led me to graze him fiercely, his lips caught mine for the final requisite. The taste of his mesmerized my mind. My heart skipped a beat as our bodies pressed together, sending heat waves through my entire senses. His enormous hands eagerly roamed down my body as he wanted to pounce on me right at the moment.

I'm drowning.

He ended the kiss, leaving me gasping for air. His dagger eyes locked on me before returning to the guests, who were ecstatic. I strive to remain still in my frail state. I blinked at the diamond ring gleaming on my finger, and I could hear my heart saying, "I'm his."

What happened to you, Sarah? Do you fall for that stranger?!

I circled my hand into his arm, we proceeded up to the hall, where thousands of people were waiting for the bride and groom. The band started as everyone joyfully cheered. People and families came up to the stage to take pictures with us.

The wedding bash comes to an end.

They led us downstairs to my "New home". Beforehand, we went back to my parent's house once again, to say goodbye one last time.

When we arrived at my childhood home, everyone, including my parents, was waiting to welcome us. We spent a little time at my house.

"Please allow us to take your daughter to our home", the groom's aunt, Reggie (Beth's sister).

There was complete stillness in the room.

"With pleasure," Mom responded, her tears welling up.

Dad averted his attention from me while wiping away his tears.

"Please, take my daughter", said dad

I hurled myself into mom's arms. She gripped me tightly, her tears dripping across my shoulder.

I can't keep it any longer, tears fill up in my eyes.

"Take care", mom planted a kiss on my forehead.

"May joy abound in your life." Dad said.

I rested my head on his chest as he wrapped me for one last time. He kissed my forehead.

My aunt and uncle did the same. They walked me out, except my parents. They stood far away, looking at me through misty eyes.

We climbed into the car and drove to the groom's house.

I relocated to a stranger's house.

Luke placed his hand over mine. "We're almost there", his smile filled the serenity in my heart.

We reached Abrams's mansion. They welcomed us as we stepped in. The entire family packed the living room.

They smiled broadly at me, and all of a sudden a wave of horror washed over me.

I clutched my gown, no no, not again Sarah! They are good people, don't do this to me!

While I filled my mind with pleasant thoughts, a fear that I couldn't comprehend was bubbling beneath the surface. A fear that needed to happen to be known as "fear".

My neck's hair stood up in a straight line as I saw all of those icy, unsettling looks.

Snapped out of your ominous thoughts, you imagined something that isn't real, you can't judge them by their appearance!

"What's on your mind?" he pressed his hand against mine.

I shook my head. "Nothing", I said.

"It's snack time, fellas. I know you're stuffed. It's worth a shot, I promise." Reggie

Reggie brought us a bittersweet chocolate dessert. We devoured the dessert while melting on the couch. She then escorted me into the room to make a change. I removed the jewellery and flowers from my head, as well as my bridal gown, and changed into a crimson dress. I left the room to let the groom in.

"Take a seat, Sarah", said Beth. I nodded with a smile.

We still had a couple of photoshoots planned with his family. As well as their friends and acquaintances. There were so many people that it felt like we were still in the wedding hall.

I'm exhausted, I want to hit the hay.

He strolled out of the room, dressed nicely, like seeing him for the first time. He walked over to the carpet, where we would shoot the pictures.

"Come on, stand by him," Beth urged.

I stood beside him, our elbows brushing against each other. Not the time for heat energy, Luke, I whispered to myself.

Each family posed for photos next to us.

"Next!", said the cameraman. People take turns.

When will this session come to an end? My throat was parched, and my body needed to rest. Don't they take enough pictures at the wedding? The hardest part is when people keep arriving and the photo session doesn't seem to be over.

"Want some?", asked Reggie.

Speak of the devil, why didn't you bring it sooner?!

I took a glass of water from the tray.

"Me too, my throat is dying", continued Luke.

"Guys, let them breathe, they've been standing for too long," Reggie stated to everyone there.

Luke went back to chit-chat with his friends.

"If you need anything, just say, I'm sitting over there," Delores pointed to the opposite side.

"Okay", I said

"Would you like some tea?", asked Indy.

"Later", I said

I left alone. I put the glass back on the table, staring at the people pacing back and forth and smiling at anyone who smiled at me.

"Let's wrap up the photo shoot," Reggie said.

Ouch! My lips twitched with an unstoppable smile. Come on! End the session. How much longer will it take?! Don't tell me all day, I'll pass out.

My legs howled in pain that I wanted to shout "STOP!" but patience is the key to showing some good manners. I keep moving my leg to ease the stiffness. I can't stand it anymore!

"How much longer? I'm weary" I said

"Just a couple more. We'll speed up the session," Reggie explained.

Reggie began instructing the individuals and photographer to take snapshots in one frame. Friends and acquaintances were blended into one frame.

Finally! It's over.

They allowed me to return to my room. I collapsed. It's heaven. No surprise humans crave it. Slowly, I started to nod off.

Knock... knock

"Sarah, you awake? May I come in?", Delores, my mother-in-law, knocked on the door, startled me up when I was sleeping, huff...!

"Come in," I adjusted my posture as the door swung open.

"We have visitors, distant relatives who were unable to attend the wedding, would you..." Delores

"Sure, come on," I said, cutting her off.

My life is idyllic! We headed toward relatives – WHO WERE UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WEDDING.

"Is this your wife?", asked Zia.

"Yes, she is my wife", he said.

'My wife' sounds priceless and special.

"Hello there!" Chrissy said, extending her hand.

"Hello", I greeted her and shook her hand before they all hugged me.

"Welcome to Abrams, Sarah", said Zia.

"How do you feel about this family?" Chrissy inquired.

"Good... I guess", I said

"Don't you worry, they're nice people", whispered Chrissy. I smiled at her.

"What about your husband? Is he a bad guy?", Zia pointed at Luke.

"Really?", he replied.

"Mm... my husband is a nice guy," I said while holding his elbow.

They laughed. "He is!", said Chrissy.

What did I say 'husband?'. I'm a wife, very sacred. Is this how every married woman feels?

"How does it feel to be a married woman?", asked Jenny.

"Mm... a major life changer. It's deep and intense, I'm like a new person", I said.

"Most people feel that way, a lot of happiness, it's a wonderful sensation. I have no words to express how I felt." Zia explains.

"I'll be honest with you, marriage life has obstacles and different sorts of challenges. It sometimes puts you on the brink, and your patience and strength will be tested. This great experience will make you a strong woman, it will bring you to the truth," Zia remarked.

"Wow, I... is this a warning or what?", I chuckled. She made me stand on a battlefield. I always wished for a smooth life, never expecting it would lead me to war.

"Warning", she smiled

The guests left. They went back to their respective rooms. I thought the day would never finish as if I were at a 7-day, 7-night party. I stretched my body before lying down. The door wide open, he stepped in. He stripped naked, exposing his six-pack figure. He approached the side of the bed where I was resting. I closed my eyes, pretending to sleep while my heart raced.

I could feel him staring at me. He touched my hand. What's he doing?

I drowned in his touch, but I need time until I'm ready for it.

I opened my eyes, and slowly and softly drew my hand back to position myself to sit.

"Do you need anything?", I asked.

"You know what I need", his rich voice enthralled me. He looked at me as if I were the prey he sought long ago. His gaze became dark and lustful.

He's not who he was the last time we met, he's...changing.

"I've no idea," I said, innocently.

"Why are you pretending, Sarah?" his voice grew deeper.

"What? No! If you tell me clearly", I said, how much longer should I pretend?

"Did you miss anything? Is it outside of our room? Would you like me to take it?" I said.

"I want you Sarah", he said.

"Hah? Me?"

Is this my first duty as a wife? What if I refuse? I really am not ready. I'm not doing this.

"You won't reject me Sarah, or will you?", he said.

"Perhaps we should...", my body shook with fear.

"You won't disobey me". He got to his feet, placed his palm on my chest, and pushed me down onto the bed. I stared at him without blinking. He morphed into a demon.

I struggled to rip myself off his grip. He grasped my hands, then rolled up my pajamas and knotted them around my wrists.

"Why are you doing this to me?" I cried.

"WHY? YOU ASK ME, WHY?!", wrath overtook him.

"All of this happened! IT'S YOUR FAULT!", he said.

"My fault? WHY IS THAT…" He stuffed my mouth before I could complete my sentence.

"I'll punish you! PAINFULLY!"

He roamed down my body, clutching my neck. He nips at my neck, n*****, down to my v*****. He squeezed hard every part of mine he touched till it was left redden. He extended my legs wider as he drew me against him. He began to f*** me roughly. I cried in anguish with my mouth gagged. He went quicker and deeper as the blood and slime dripped from my v*****.

I'm dirty and disgusted. It's hard for me to believe I married a monster. I didn't regret the marriage when he tied the knot, but now I do.

I want the man I met that night!
