Alexandre and Benjamin returned home after a busy day. They washed their hands before taking their places at the table, where a dinner prepared by their mother awaited them. "Eat before it gets cold," says the mother. The two brothers replied in chorus, "Yes, Mom."
"So tell me what you did today?" asked the mother. Benjamin, all excited, explained, "Alexander showed me how to fight Skulgrums!".
Maria, the mother, began to think. "Isn't it a bit too early for him?" she asked Alexander.
"Mom, he needs to learn. I can't stay with him all the time. So I'm using the time I'm here to teach him the basics. He won't be able to choose his school for another month. I thought that it would make up for the lost time," explained Alexandre.
"Yes, you're right, but don't go too fast. Your brother still needs time to develop. He hasn't chosen his skills in Crystal World yet", said Maria, the mother.
"Yes, you're right. Maybe we should go tomorrow. I'll be easier on my little brother when I go back to school," said Alexander, looking at his mother to get her approval.
"I agree, but on the condition that you go with your father. It reassures me to know it with you", says Maria.
"After the meal, I'm going to go talk to him. In that case, mum," said Alexandre, continuing to eat his meal.
"Good. And if he refuses, tell him it's not a request, but an order," said Maria, with a look that would have terrified any living creature. Maria was a rank 2 Berserk.
Benjamin laughed saying, "Hahahaha, I'm sure he wouldn't even dare to say anything. Mom, you're way too terrifying." But he immediately felt a sharp pain in the back of his head that threw his head into his plate which shattered on impact.
"Who are you calling terrifying?" asked Maria, her eyes burning with anger.
Alexandre, still a little shocked, quickly intervened, "It's alright mum, he was only joking. I'll go talk to dad now, don't worry". He led Benjamin out of the room and told him to calm down and apologize to their mother. The two brothers then went to speak to their father to organize their visit to the Crystal World the next day.
The two brothers left their home to go to the paternal house which was nearby. As they approached their destination, they saw their father standing in the entrance, his face lit up with a cheerful smile.
"So Benjamin, what good wind is bringing you today?" asked the father, laughing. Benjamin, amazed, wondered how his father could have guessed that he had something to say to him.
"It's very simple," replied the father with amusement, "you have a hump as high as Mount Mine, hahahaha, it brings back good memories of yesteryear!".
The brothers were invited in and their father greeted them warmly. "So tell me what brings you today," he said, "I can't wait to know what you want to ask me."
