Kai had been on his way to Lucy's castle, which was about a day's journey on horseback. Unfortunately, he had not learned it yet, and so was forced to sit in a carriage to be brought there.
However, on the way there, his convoy was ambushed and nearly annihilated. The only reason he had survived was that one of the heavy cavalry escorts hidden within the convoy of regular guards had dragged him out of the carriage and brought him to escape.
'What was his name again… Arch! Yes!'
Arch had brought him back safely to the Dread castle, however just as he was getting off the tired horse, Kai's hand slipped out of Arch's own blood-covered hands and Kai fell head-first into the ground.
The resulting injury had left him unconscious for a few days now, and he finally woke up.
And this was why a large portion of his head was bandaged up. If Rachel placed the hot tower on his head, it might affect the stitch and might cause the wound to open up once more, so the cloth was just used as a method to warm up Kai's body. After all, it was nearing winter and the temperature was dropping gradually.
After recalling everything, Arch nodded towards Rachel and closed his eyes. Unknown to him, exhaustion got the better of him as he kept his eyes closed till the next morning when the gentle rays of sunlight shone onto his eyes.
"Oh! Young Master Kai is finally awake. I'll go and inform the Baron and Doctor."
Rachel's rather sweat voice entered Kai's ears as he turned his half-groggy gaze towards the door where she had already left. Although Rachel had just crossed 10 meters in under 2 seconds wearing the rather tight maid uniform and heels, Kai had not the peace of mind to think about such things. After all, he had just been awoken from his sleep, and in such a state, he was almost as good as a drunk person.
It took him some time to get used to this feeling of having strong sunlight entering his room, bringing not just light but also heat naturally, unlike the heaters and artificial lights in the orphanage which were used because the sun was a rarity unless you left the atmosphere.
'How long was I asleep?' Kai thought as he adjusted himself in bed.

[Host has been asleep for 11 hours 42 minutes and 51 seconds]
A cold and robotic voice sounded in Kai's head.
'Who was that?!' Kai jerked his head around for a few seconds, before recalling the memories from the Earth Kai. Apparently, he had brought his newly installed experimental Bionic chip with him into the original Kai.

[I can:]
[1. Conduct massive calculations normally impossible to complete with just the human mind]
[2. Complete tasks using calculations]
[3. Predict the time it takes to complete a task]
[5. Scan and Record objects and events]
[6. Forcefully enter data into your mind. However, the more information it is, the longer it will take]
[Please note that all of the above takes energy, which is absorbed from the heat given off by your body. If a better source of energy is found, the speed of completing tasks will be greatly boosted]
'Huh… How come none of these were available when I was alive back on Earth?' Kai thought to himself since the bionic chip in his brain at the time could only work as a display-less computer capable of accessing the internet.

[Due to the electric shock, the death of the Original Host, the transfer of the Original Host to a new body, and brining the system along, certain elements were unlocked, certain elements were permanently lost, and certain elements were created. Such a result will be impossible to recreate]
'Huh, now that is just pretty convenient for you is it not?' Kai shrugged to himself as he finally took measure of the condition of his body.
Currently, most of his limbs did not seem to be in a bad condition and he could feel them and use them without any issues. In fact, most of his body was like that except for the head, which seemed rather heavy, most likely due to swelling from the injury he received.
'Hey system, is it possible to analyse the exact situation with my body?'

[Host currently has a concussion. Please note that this is based on calculations from the analysis of the Original Kai's memories and nothing else. It is not possible to analyse the Host's current body without the System being active and being able to assess the damage done to the host during that period of time. It is recommended Host use a reflective surface to allow the system to derive a more accurate analysis]
Before Kai could think about methods to recover fully from the injury, the door was swung open with great force, bringing a stout figure to Kai's mind. And indeed, Baron Dread had walked in the moment the door was open, with a hopeful smile on his face as he looked at Kai.
"Pops, I want a mirror," before the Baron could say anything, Kai spoke up.
"Oh… sure. Bring a mirror." The Barron waved his hand and the aged butler waiting just outside the open door, next to the two heavy cavalry knights bowed and walked off at a brisk pace.
Soon enough, Kai was able to see himself, and what he saw was still slightly shocking to him.
His face was perfectly fine. In fact, it was as pristine as a baby's bottom. His large crimson eyes were coloured in sharp contrast to the pale white hair which was poking through some of the bandages on his forehead.
He looked like an albino rabbit…
His body was still ok, although slightly weaker than a normal child his age, was still considerably healthier than the Kai from Earth.

[Host has received an impact to the right temple, causing a concussion. However, no bones were broken and there was only a small cut to the flesh, which had been properly disinfected and bandaged. It should not take more than a few weeks for the host to make a full recovery]
