After returning to Yato's house, Shiro went directly to his room and collapsed on his bed, all the fatigue from the six days on the mountain came crashing down on him as he fainted almost instantly.
When Shiro woke up, he was shocked to find out that he had slept for over half a day, he instantly got up and went out to see what was going on.
'I guess it is not ideal to stay up in the mountains for six days without food or water'
Shiro thought as he went down the stairs, the day was still bright so he decided to take a look at the village.
"Look who finally decided to wake up" Yato said as he watched Shiro come down the stairs.
Hearing Yato's comment, Shiro decided to wave it off like the comment wasn't directed at him, he wasn't in the right state of mind to deal with some off-handed remarks, he simply went over to Eris's side and asked her if she could show him around the city.
Eris easily complied as she herself wanted to show him around, after getting ready, the two of them quickly left the house and began to stroll around the medium sized village.
The village with its size could easily carry up to a thousand residents, it wasn't too small nor was it too big, it was moderate and easily gave one a sense of belonging. The villager's were kind, each passing a word of greeting to the two before continuing on with their works.
On their way round the village, Shiro asked Eris to show him a weapon shop, most of his problems in the forest came from his lack of good equipment, the path of cultivation he chose was one that required him to close him on a enemy before taking action, thus, without good equipment defending himself against stronger opponents would only get harder.
The village wasn't that large so it didn't take Shiro and Eris much time to arrive at their destination. The shop was a three story complex, on the walls were paintings of warriors wearing armor and holding various types of weapons, Shiro took a glance at the buildings, especially the paintings before quickly losing interest and going into the shop.
The inside was decorated with mannequins wearing different colors of armor, on another side of the shop were rows of weapons of different types and sizes, each armor and weapon had labeling on them depicting the grade of the equipment.

The weapons' hilts had colors of either brown, blue or yellow, Shiro instantly understood the meanings of these colors.
'None of them are above the advanced grade'
Shiro then looked at the armors, they also had the same colors of markings, disappointed, he walked over to the counter and asked for the price of the advanced grade weapons and equipment.
"1 gold coin for each weapon, and 3 gold coins for a set of advanced armor"
Old man at the counter said as he stared directly Eris, he saw her as a means to make money so he instantly gave them the full price with no discount. She was the village heads child after all, if she couldn't afford the full price then no one could.
Hearing the price, Shiro turned to Eris with a look that said
'Is that expensive?'
He had basically forgotten about the exchange rate of the mortal world since he had been away for over a thousand years.
Eris also looked at him with a perplexed look, she also didn't know if it was expensive or not, but she had the money so she quickly paid.
Once they were done, Shiro put on the armor only to find out that, they were too big for him. He had the body of a 13 year old after all and children weren't meant to wear armor.
Seeing the armor was too big for him, the old man told them to wait before going up to the second floor of the building. Shiro and Eris were both puzzled but didn't have the time to think before they saw the old man coming down again, on his hands were robes of different colors and sizes, and hanging down from his shoulders were black colored trousers which had a tint of different colors indicating their grades.
Shiro stared at the old man without knowing what to make of the situation, the situation had now become one of a customer in a shopping mall.
"This are cloth armor, although, they are not as good as regular armor, they are easier to move in. I highly recommend this one for a child of your age" The old man explained after seeing Shiro's confused expression
Shiro didn't mind being called a child, although, he was far older than the man, he was indeed living in a child's body so he felt there was nothing wrong with what the man said.
Seeing the silence, the old man continued his marketing tactics
"So for the prices... Not much different from the regular armor, but since this one gave better advantages it's only fair that the prices increased right?"
"By how much?"
Shiro asked, he could tell from this man attitude that he was a scam, and a proud one at that, he didn't even bother hiding his intentions, he probably thought he was dealing with children so he tried to extort them.
The old man looked at Shiro after hearing his words, Shiro didn't say much but the question he asked made it clear that he was not stupid enough to forget that he had already paid for the armor.
"Twenty two silver coins"
The old man answered, clearly aware of his failed plan he decided to just sell it to them at the highest price possible
"That is great then"
Shiro said while he motioned for Eris to pay which she happily complied.
With nothing more to do in the shop Shiro and Eris left to continue their stroll.
Shiro had changed into the cloth armor and was now checking it out, the robe he bought was white in color with some yellow stripes around the edges indicating that it was an advanced grade one, he also took a black pair of trousers and a rope belt to hold the robe together with the trousers, the robes had some kind of weird markings which absorbed the damage that was dealt to him, the damage absorption was low but he had more flexibility and it didn't reduce his speed, overall it was the best equipment for him at this stage.
Happy with his purchase he decided that he would head back to Eris's house early so that he could go into the forest to hunt some beasts the next day.
