Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

As the crowd disperses, Clyde calls Butler Wang to bring him a car and informs him that he has left the dungeon and is on his way home. Butler Wang after some time arrives and promptly brings Clyde and Ivory back to their residence. Clyde heads straight to his room, and Ivory also returns to her room both in the Evirille building.

Upon arriving at his room, Clyde directly heads to the bathroom to take a much-needed shower. Being in the dungeon, he was unable to attend to his personal hygiene, and he feels refreshed after the shower. He also requests some food, as he is starving from the lack of proper meals while being in the dungeon.

After eating, Clyde takes some time to relax in his room, allowing himself to rest from the experience he endured in the dungeon. He sits back and takes deep breaths, grateful to be back in the comfort of his own home.

"knock" "knock" "knock"

Clyde has been asleep for some time now, but the sound of knocking on his door startled him awake. He groggily asks "Who's there?"

"Young master, it's me Butler Wang." comes the reply from the other side of the door.

Clyde gets out of bed and walks over to the door, allowing Butler Wang to enter his room. "What's the matter, Butler Wang?" Clyde asks.

Butler Wang bows respectfully and says, "Young master, your father requests your presence."

Clyde nods, still feeling a little drowsy but understanding the importance of this request. "Tell my father I'll be there shortly," he says to Butler Wang. Butler Wang nods and quickly exits the room, leaving Clyde to get ready to meet with his father.

Later, Clyde arrives at his father's office and greets him warmly, "Father." Frank also greets his son with a broad smile, noticing that he has already reached level 7. He is pleasantly surprised that Clyde was able to level up so quickly after spending several days in the dungeon.

"I see that your stay in the dungeon was a huge success," Frank says, his pride in his son evident in his voice. "I think it would be best for you to take some time off and relax here with the family. Don't just focus on leveling up, it's more important to master your skills. Take these next few days to train and focus on improving your abilities."

Clyde nods in agreement, understanding his father's words. "Yes, Father, I understand. I don't plan to visit any dungeons for the time being anyway," he replies.

Frank nods, pleased with Clyde's answer. However, what he doesn't know is that Clyde's true intention is to relax for a few days until the academy recruitment. As Clyde exits the room, Frank is left alone in the office.

Frank begins to contemplate Clyde's rapid progress. He is astounded by how quickly Clyde has advanced in such a short period of time. Frank realizes that his previous estimate of Clyde's potential was incorrect and that his son must have the potential of at least a genius. He realizes that to progress at this rate, Clyde must have killed a massive number of beasts in a short time frame.

This thought leads Frank to ponder whether Clyde could be responsible for the current troubles in the Goblin Hive. He can't help but wonder if his son's rapid progress has anything to do with the situation. He makes a mental note to keep an eye on Clyde and see if he notices any strange behavior.

Clyde has just left his father's office and is now aimlessly wandering around the sprawling family estate. Despite having a plethora of options at his disposal, he is unsure of where to go next.

He decides to forgo summoning Ivory, knowing that she deserves a well-deserved break after their recent travels. His meandering eventually leads him to the training grounds, which occupy multiple floors in the building. The training grounds are filled with a variety of equipment and rings for fighters to hone their skills in.

Clyde was filled with curiosity as he entered the training ground, and he was immediately noticed by the guards who greeted him respectfully, as was expected given the strict hierarchy of the Evirille family. The servants are trained to show the utmost respect to each member of the family, regardless of their age or position.

As Clyde stepped further into the training grounds, he couldn't help but feel the weight of all eyes upon him. The individuals who were practicing their skills just moments before had now all come to a standstill, their gazes fixed upon him. Clyde couldn't help but feel a sense of surprise as he realized that his presence was causing such a stir among these people.

He was well aware that each member of the Evirille family had their own private training ground, and he couldn't help but wonder why these servants were so shocked to see him in here. His voice echoed throughout the floor as he spoke, "Ahh guys, please continue your training. Don't let my presence here disrupt your practice."

However, despite his encouragement, the individuals continued to stare at him in surprise, leading Clyde to question whether it was truly uncommon for a member of the family to visit the servant training ground.

However, before Clyde could delve deeper into his thoughts, a loud voice echoed throughout the room. "The young master has given his command to continue training, what are all of you waiting for?" The tone of the voice was firm and commanding, causing the individuals on the training ground to tremble in response.

They quickly regained their composure and resumed their training, each one expressing their respect for Clyde as they bowed slightly in his direction. The sight of the servants bowing to him was a humbling experience for Clyde, reminding him of the respect and power that came with being a member of the Evirille family.

As Clyde was about to continue exploring the training ground, he was suddenly approached by a towering figure. The man was incredibly muscular and stood at an impressive height of over 2 meters tall. He had long, flowing brown hair that was tied back, giving him a mature and distinguished appearance. The scars on his body were a testament to the many battles he had fought and won.

Clyde immediately recognized the man as the one who had called out to the others earlier, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe in his presence. Despite his best efforts, Clyde was unable to gauge the man's strength. This only meant one thing: the man's level greatly surpassed that of Clyde's.

The man's confident stride and battle-hardened appearance commanded respect and attention. Clyde felt admiration as he looked upon the man.
