Lael is sitting quietly while hugging Shandri who is leaning on him. He notices that Shandri became quiet after crying for a couple of minutes. He looks down at her face but then smiles seeing her sleeping peacefully.
He slowly stands up while still holding her and then carries her. Lael takes the path back to their inn while carrying Shandri in his arms. A couple of people who saw them would feel envy or feel romantic toward them.
Lael put Shandri in his bed slowly. He went out after tucking her into bed. He gently touched her hair and kissed the tip of it before leaving the room. He went across the room where Shandri is supposed to be.
After a couple of minutes, someone knocked on the door. The door swings open and Nathan is surprised to see Lael inside the room instead of Shandri.
"Where is she?" he asked.
"Who knows..." Lael answered casually.
"Is she in your room? I need to talk to her."
