Shandri as the duke's daughter went home after leaving the palace to their territory in the north. Where her younger brother succeeded in the title and now inherits their father's will.

Her brother protects her from the king yet it is Shandri who accepted the king's favor. The king's reason for his visitation is to ask for a favor of help in solving the bothering problem. He received a report that the Kotzen empire is planning to attack them.

Shandri foresees that the north will be the battlefield. Didn't want the war to happen since it is the northern people of their territory will suffer. For that reason, Shandri was forced to accept the king's favor. The two of them travel to the Kotzen empires to gather information since the king's informant suddenly stops sending him a report.

Shandri didn't know that traveling to the Kotzen empire is part of the flow of the novel. It is where the second male lead of the novel will show up. And it is where revelation will happen, for the time the king travels to the Kotzen empire together supposedly with the female lead, is the part where the story reaches its climax.

The female lead is the princess that the king brought into the palace from the war. She is the key to their diplomatic negotiations with the other kingdom. Shandri didn't know that there are another transmigrator like her in the novel.

PROLOGUE

A woman who has long silver wavy hair. A pair of bluish eyes and porcelain skin. She is condemned as the villainess and the wife of the king. Standing at the center of the dazzling banquet hall surrounded by noble guests.

She is standing in front of the king and the woman who has straight honey-blonde hair beside him. The woman beside the king cling to his arm and slightly hid behind him. The king glances at her and moves a step forward to show protection for her.

The queen smirked. "Hah! This is out of hand already. It escalated to this point but you don't want to send me a divorce paper?" She phrases as if it is the most ridiculous sight she has ever seen.

"W-what are you talking about, your majesty?" the woman behind the king, voice with hesitation.

The queen gazes sharply at her. "I'm not talking to you." She sighed. "You acted like a fragile flower in front of everyone but you don't dare to show them what face you made whenever we are alone? I didn't know that I am special to you," she speak with a sweet smile.

"That's..." the woman clenched the sleeves of the king.

The king notices her and clasps her hand that clenching on his sleeves.

"Queen, why are you harassing Princess Elena again?"

Her smiling face turns into an indifferent gaze. "This is ridiculous...," she muttered.

"I am the queen after all. I must always be calm and composed for the country and its people. I cannot be shrouded by emotions because it might lead to the ruin of the country and people. All I can do is cry alone at night and console myself." A tear dropped from her eyes.

"Queen..." the king reached out his hand to hold her.

However, the queen takes a step back leaving his hand hanging.

The queen looks at the crowd looking for her ladies in waiting. Their eyes meet and one of her ladies-in-waiting, Suzette approaches her, holding a paper in her hand.

"I already signed it your majesty. Please approved this..."

"But..."

"I also brought the seal in case you couldn't sign the paper." opening her palm in Suzette's direction.

Suzette handed the seal to her.

"T-this..."

The queen seals the divorce paper before putting it on the floor.

"Thank you for everything. Please have a happy blissful life together with her. Goodbye..." she smiled sweetly before turning around and leaving the banquet hall without looking back.

As the queen walked away from them, she wipes away her tears and smirked.

"I didn't know I got skilled in acting. Now then, shall we exit this scene in the novel I transmigrated in happily?"

*****

Shandri found a bleeding man unconscious in the forest. His plain white inner sleeve was covered in his blood. She did not hesitate to help the man and bring him to her house.

There she treated his own and let him rest on her bed in her. After taking care of the wounds, Shandri decided to get rest as well.

One morning, the man that Shandri saved slowly opened his eyes. He could feel a sting and pain from the wounds in his body. Other than that, he could feel someone's presence beside him. He glanced to his side and saw Shandri who was sleeping peacefully while hugging his arm.

(W-what is t-this!) he thought alarmedly.
