Damoen sighed in frustration; he argued with his mate many times, but she was firm with her decision. "You've changed since that night... I made you like this," he muttered. She looked at him intently, as if she wanted him to see her through her eyes. "This is me, Damoen, the real me. I promised myself to hunt the witch after the death of my child, and no one can stop me," she replied.
"The child was mine too, kaesha; I can't bear to lose you," he replied.
