"What is this place?" he asked.
"This is hell, babe," she replied.
"I am not a baby," he protested, but deep inside he liked being called that.
"It's an endearment, Damoen," she replied.
It seemed that the vehicle was counting, and the giant's number was huge; it was close to half a million. If these monsters come to the fortress, he doesn't know what will happen. Only ten thousand of them came out last time.
"We cannot eliminate them; we are too many," he commented.
"We won't eliminate them; we will make them stay where they belong," he said.
"Have you seen the seeker before?" she asked.
"No, I was not born when she was sentenced to death," he replied.
"I thought the afterlife was everlasting agony for the sinners. Why did that witch seem to like it here? She seemed to be enjoying her power over those monsters," she commented dryly.
