"Heavenly Demon?" He murmured, trying to piece together Gal-Dong's information.
Muyong, the young man who gave him the emblem, was apparently the heavenly demon of the Heavenly Demonic Cult!
This Cult was a powerful force beyond his current understanding of the Murim world.
However, as far as Gal-Dong's words were concerned, they were powers that rival even the so-called "Orthodox" path of the Murim world, which happens to encompass those great powers such as the Mount Hua Sect, Baek-Clan, or Southern White Sword sect.
These powers are first-rated if not super rated factions that his current life could never match against!
Again, not to mention that Huangfan is within the territory of Mount Hua.
However, from the words and name of the Heavenly Demonic Cult, it was not certainly a righteous faction by any means, perhaps, they were targeted by the murim world.
This would explain why most of their cult members are in disguise, mingling in the various affairs of the world in the background.
"What if I want to meet your Heavenly Leader?" He asked, wondering why Muyong gave him the emblem.
The cult member, with few exceptions, can use the Heavenly Demon as 'Heavenly Demon', but would instead use the 'Heavenly Leader' title, which is much more formal.
So Yu Yan was doing the same.
"Actually, the heavenly leader happened to pass through our gate yesterday."
As he said this, a knock came through.
"Gal-Dong." The voice was cold and muffled.
"Why does this voice sound familiar?"
Gal-Dong however, was a bit startled, unable to trust his ears.
Then, the door opened, revealing the heavy covered Muyong who was wrapped up in layers of clothings with only the gap of his eyes visible.
"Oh?" Muyong exclaimed.
There was something he needed from Gal-Dong before leaving Hongqi for the Mount Hua sect, so he followed Gal-Dong's trace of internal energy.
But, he was not expecting to see Yu Yan again.
"Are you looking for me, little lass?" He smiled.
It wasn't hard to guess, seeing that Yu Yan happened to be together with Gal-Dong at the same inn, in the same room no less.
Hearing Muyong's question, he looked toward Gal-Dong.
"I'll be outside if you need me." After saying so, he left through the door and closed it tightly behind and stood guard outside.
"Your lackies are quite trained and witty." Yu Yan praised with a shrug of his shoulder, to which Muyong chortled," Gal-Dong is an exception, if every single of my cult followers had half a brain as him, I would have long swoop the entire murim."
Yu Yan's eyes shook, looking a bit surprised by Muyong's informal way of talking along with the fact that he was quite honest.
However, he could see that Muyong was different," see that you have no ambition in ruling the world."
"Oh?"
"How can you be so sure?"
"Just a little guess of mine."
At this moment, Muyong changed his impression of Yu Yan, unable to grasp a straw of Yu Yan words despite being so eleven or twelve years old.
"So, why did you give me this?" He said, pulling out the heavenly emblem and placing it on the table.
Muyong can't help but frown, before recovering his cold indifferent attitude," You had potential to be a great warrior, that is one reason."
He hesitated after this statement, took a deep breath, before saying," Another is this instinct of mine that tells me you are special… In what way, I do not know." He shook his head.
Actually, Yu Yan had the same sensation of "special" towards Muyong, but he couldn't twirl his words about it.
"Is that why you looked for me?"
"Actually no, I wanted to buy some snacks since I heard Hongqi had the best trades around." He said seriously, causing Muyong to chuckle," Brat, who in this world dares to sit in front of me and still joke around?"
Yu Yan shrugs his shoulders, pretending to look innocent, before snorting," Brat? You look as fresh as the cabbage I see on the street, speak for yourself."
"Who teaches you to speak like that? Are they not afraid of you losing your head walking down the street?"
