Chapter 43 - Tulan on Taizhou (1)

[Main Mission: Gain 100 Follower (Currently 3/100)]

This is what he had been waiting for, but, there is no rush in completing the mission. Followers will naturally comes as long as he continue streaming.

With over half of his past power recovered, he can afford to take it at a more leisure pace. This sort of assurance that comes from one's strength is what brings him comfort.

What weigh more in his mind is the Dao of Karma, which is his ticket to reaching the Yin-Yang Scryer realm in the future.

Reaching the Yin-Yang Scryer has been his obsession since thousands of years ago, before he was left stranded in this star sea.

Yu Yan had a lingering feeling that it's possible to increase his understanding of karma through fishing, just like he did in the Desolate God Temple.

There was only one way to find out if it is the same, and that is to fish.

With this in mind, he turned towards the door and opened it.

"Master, congratulation on your breakthrough!" Gongniu praise, to which Yu Yan smiled.

"Where is Tulan?" He asked, looking left and right.

"Sister Lan left the star stream and went to find a planet named Taizhou. Does master want to call her back?" Gongniu replied.

"No, it's fine," Yu Yan rejected. "She must have her own reason for traveling to another star stream, leave her be." He then turned his attention away from Gongniu.

Before, he was considered quite weak, but now, he had already recovered over half of his power.

With one thought, a mirror-like lake shimmered into existence in the middle of the colorless moon, reflecting the surrounding stars and casting a soft glow.

Then a set of chairs and stone table materialized nearby, perfectly complementing the tranquil scene. As he admired the beauty of the lake, he thought of adding some greenery to the barren surroundings.

In response to his desire, a small willow tree sprouted from the ground, its delicate branches stretching out and instantly maturing past his height, providing a natural canopy that covered the hut from the side.

Yu Yan smiled, clearly satisfied by his work and walked toward the lake.

Clack.

Several lanterns appeared by the edge of the lake, illuminating its beauty even further.

He sat down at one of the chair by the lake, holding the fishing rod in his hand.

As he felt the wood texture in his palm, several thoughts rose in his mind.

'Desolate God Fruit, Desolate God Temple... And Muyong, how is it all related?' The system acted apprehensive with the mention of the Desolate God Temple and Desolate Demon, what and who is the Desolate Demon?

There were a lot of questions he had, but each of the questions seems to create even more questions.

As for the matter regarding his divine sense? It's simply not worth mentioning compared to the mystery related to the Desolate God Temple.

"It looks like I find a chance to enter the Desolate God Temple in the future..." He murmured, staring deeply at the lake, then cast his line.

As the bait hit the water, the surface of the lake rippled with the small waves. The lantern light reflected on the water, creating a picturesque scene that calmed Yu Yan's mind. The fishing line in his hand became taut as a fish nibbled on the bait.

The reflection on the lake seems to ripples on Tulan's side as she entered Taizhou Planet.

Coincidentally, Tulan's feet touched the ground of planet Taizhou and found herself in a dense forest. Countless Trees towered over her, blocking out the sun and casting shadows on the forest floor.

The underbrush was thick and tangled, making it difficult to navigate. She could hear the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds, but it was overshadowed by the growls and snarls of wild beasts.

"The density of spiritual essence on his planet is negligible," She murmured, turning her head to the right. There was presence of other cultivators nearby.

She smiled upon hearing the ruckus not far from where she landed," Interesting..." Then moved toward the source of the sounds.

The noises grew louder and the trees grew thicker.

There were numerous wild beasts staring at her as she tread through the forest in a leisure manner, yet strangely, they didn't dare to pounce at her, but instead, stared from a distant with shaky shivers and dilated pupil.

"Hand over the item, and we'll spare your lives," one of cultivators demanded, brandishing a sharp sword.

Their voice was harsh and inaudible through the bustle of leaves, but as she find herself standing onto one of the giant tree among numerous others in the forest, the scene became clearer.
