THIRD PERSON'S pov.
>>Twinkle Twinkle Bridal Home<<
Mike drove into the parking lot, he carefully, yet hurriedly parked his car in an open space, then quickly alighted from his car and rushed into the building.
He bumped into a few people on his way, he'd muttered sorry and continue his journey, until he arrived at a room where different styles of wedding gowns are on display.
His eyes landed on a lady who's wearing a body tight red dress and was checking out herself in a mirror, he smiled broadly in satisfaction and walked towards her.
"You look so gorgeous in this dress, sweetie" he said as he hugged her from behind and kissed her exposed neck.
He stared at her face in the mirror and realized she wasn't looking happy at all, she quickly pushed him off her and turned to face him with a soul draining glare.
"You're late!" she stated.
Mike lifted his left hand and quickly glanced at his wristwatch, then released a sigh.
"I'm just a minute late, sweetie" he said and made to pull her into another hug, but she took a few steps back, creating a arm length space between them.
"It's just a minute, but the fact is you're late!" her eyebrows knitted as she narrowed her eyes. "Is it because of her?" she asked.
"Her?" he tilted his head slightly. "Who's her?"
She scoffed loudly, then stormed towards a couch and angrily slumped on.
"You're feigning ignorance, you're pretending as if you don't know who I'm talking about"
"Jacinta, what the hell are you talking about?"
"The fuçk you don't know her, Rachel" she paused.
Jacinta (Mike's fiancee) reached for her handbag and pulled out a few pictures, then slammed them on the small table in front of her.
"You came late because of her, right?"
He frowned as he stared at the scattered pictures on the table, he leaned down and picked one of them.
"You're keeping tabs on me?" he asked, sounding a little bit hurt, but Jacinta didn't seem to care.
"Answer me!" she raised her eyebrows. "You're having an affair with her, you're cheating on me with her, right?"
Mike sighed and dropped the picture back on the table.
"Can..can we not talk about her, she has nothing to do with us..."
"She has everything to do with us" she interrupted him. "I heard you've been fooling around with her lately, tell me what enticed you in this homewrecker?"
"Come on, Jacinta, you're being very mean with your words right now"
She sprang up and flipped her hair back.
"I'm being mean with my words?" she picked one of Rachel's pictures and waved it in front of Mike's eyes. "I'm being mean with my words because I called this husband snatcher a homewrecker?"
Mike's frown deepened immediately Jacinta repeated those words, he snatched the picture from her and slammed it on the table.
"I'm not your husband yet, Jacinta" he corrected her. "And Rachel is just one of my many clients, I won't stay silent and watch you insult her!" he snapped at her.
Jacinta paused and stumbled back slightly, her shoulders slumped down as tears brimmed up in her eyes.
"You yelled at me" she said quietly.
"Yes, because you were losing your mind and going too far" he paused and took a deep breath. "Since when did you started feeling so insecure?"
"Since you started fooling around with her!" she pointed at the pictures.
"Then you are just feeling insecure for nothing, Rachel doesn't have romantic feelings for me and she never will, she's just my client" he explained.
"Your client?" Mike nodded. "I thought your job is to help people with their divorce procedures, and from what I know she's single, how did she ended up being your client?"
"It's complicated and I can't tell you about it"
Jacinta let out a dry laugh, then clapped her hands and nodded.
"It's complicated" she laughed loudly. "Just tell me she's your client in bed"
Mike raised his hand to slap, but quickly stopped himself and slapped himself instead.
"You're really being unreasonable right now..."
"I can't be reasonable when someone's trying to snatch my man!"
He stared at her silently, it's very obvious there's a lot running through his mind.
"Is this how you're gonna be suspecting I'm having affair with every female client of mine?"
"Yes, especially the ones who're being too close to"
His eyebrows furrowed instantly.
"Do you know what you're doing right now?" he paused. "You're making it seem as if I'm in a toxic relationship" he paused briefly. "Can't you give me a break to breathe?"
"I'll give you a break if you stop seeing her"
Mike took a deep breath and shook his head.
"I can't stop seeing her because we have business together, I guess we should be the ones to stop seeing each other instead and..."
"What do you mean? What are you trying to do?"
"I MEAN IT'S OVER BETWEEN US!" he shouted in her face which made her flinch back.
"W-what?!"
"There's no need for us being together, since you don't understand my job" that being said, he turned and stormed off.
Jacinta stared at the direction he stormed off to, then released an angry and agonizing growl as she started pushing any and everything that's in her sight.

RACHEL'S pov.
>>R&F coffee and ice cream parlor<<
The taxi driver stopped right in front of my cafe, I alighted and paid him.
"Keep the change" I told him.
"Thank you, ma'am" he thanked me and drove off, then I rushed in without wasting time.
My cafe's already packed with customers, some were having hot tea, others were having coffees and cakes, and others are still placing orders -almost every table was occupied.
Wow, I guess God's compensating me for yesterday's low sales.
My staffs greeted me as I walked past any of them until I made it to the counter and Fatima grabbed my arm.
"How did it go? Did he agree to sign it?" Fatima asked me.
"Yeah, but under a condition" I answered.
"Condition? What condition?" Fatima asked, sounding kinda anxious.
I scorned at her, then turned away from her and walked towards the coffee machine to get myself a cup of coffee, because I swear I really need it right now.
"Come on, come on, tell me, what's the condition?" she asked.
"Can you let me at least quench my thirst?"
"Oh"
She gestured towards the coffee machine and shut her mouth, then pulled out a stool and sat down. She impatiently tapped her fingers on the counter as I was making my coffee, with her eyes glued to my face.
"Stop staring at me like those creeps in bars"
She giggled.
"Then hurry up" she urged me.
I took a sip from my coffee and used my free hand to pull out another stool, then sat down.
"Come on" she urged me again.
"Well..." I dropped my coffee on the counter. ".. he said he'd consider signing the papers if I attend his concert tonight"
Fatima's lips curved in an O, then she broke into a very wide grin and beat the counter softly.
"I knew it, I knew we're gonna attend his concert this time" she threw her hands in the air and inhaled deeply. "I can't believe my dream is coming true tonight, I'm feeling attending my idol's concert and I'm gonna be a VIP guest!" she exclaimed, drawing a few customers attention but I whispered sorry to them and they turned back to their businesses.
"Will you bring your voice down, you're disturbing my customers!" I snapped at her.
"Oh" she lowered her head. "We'll head to your house together, get ready there and go to the concert together"
"Why can't we get ready in your house?" I asked.
"Because yours is big and you're a fashion icon, I can get free trending outfits from your closet" she replied and grinned.
She's right about me being a fashion icon, I have every trending clothes, shoes or bags in my closet...what can I say, I love spending my money on myself.
