The cameras recording the serene hall in front of Dean Thurstone's office were disabled by Alora's guards. The security officer relishing in the sugary magic of high end cakes and pastries whilst one of them distracted him with a tangent concerning his dwindling love life and the other sneaked in to alter the camera recordings.
"My wife ran away with the plumber," he sobbed, sniffling his snot and tears in the napkins that came along with the desserts. "She even left the kids to me. I cannot breastfeed!"
"Tsk tsk tsk, women are never worth the effort. Look at me, happily unmarried. I come to work each day and go home to peace each day. I can eat anything I like and not worry about rules of the household of anything as such. My life is joy," the security officer had chastised.
"Yeah, so you don't get laid?"
