Elio tapped Caspian's back to let him stand back up and assume a resting position. The blonde did not spare a second to jump up to a standstill and join Quenton and Alora in their apology session.
"I'm sorry as well! Forgive me that you're so easy to tackle," Caspian grinned cheekily, earning a smack from Elio in return.
"Casp, honestly, don't try," Finn scoffed, dark eyes twinkling. "You'll be my partner for tonight," he pointed at Alora, "And we'll win today's hunt. If we don't then— well, I— we'll see about that later."
Alora's eyes widened, words of argument tipping over her tongue, desperate to come out. She wanted to be with Quinn and Quenton. She wanted to be Quinn's partner! But Quinn wouldn't talk to her if she doesn't get things straight with Finn.
