Chapter 16 - Base of Operation Part-4

Leon moved through the dimly lit corridors of the White House Executive Residence, his footsteps were silent and his movements stealthy. Armed with an M9 pistol, he relied on his extensive training, skill, and expertise to navigate the dark hallway undetected.

Little did Leon know, deep within the heart of the Executive Residence, General Viktor Kozlov, the leader of the enemy forces, held a secret meeting with his subordinates. The room was filled with tension as their voices echoed, mixing with the dim lighting.

General Kozlov's authoritative and harsh voice resonated across the table as he addressed his subordinates. "Gentlemen, the enemy continues to wreak havoc, causing destruction and taking the lives of our men. We cannot allow their insurgency to persist. Our hold on power depends on crushing them once and for all."

One of Kozlov's subordinates interjected with concern. "Sir, reports indicate that an infiltrator has breached the outer defenses and is already inside the west wing. We must locate and neutralize this threat immediately."

Kozlov was shocked by the news. "He's already inside the west wing? How is it possible for a lone soldier to penetrate the White House so deeply?"

Narrowing his eyes, Kozlov's anticipation grew. "Leave no stone unturned. Mobilize our remaining forces and search every inch of this residence. We cannot allow this infiltrator to reach our inner sanctum."

"But sir, most of our best soldiers have already perished," another subordinate admitted with embarrassment.

Kozlov's shock turned to pale realization as he fell back into his seat. As he continued to issue orders, Leon unseen and unheard, closed in on their location. With precision and skill, he swiftly incapacitated the liberated guards, rendering them unconscious and killing them without a sound.

In the conference room, tension mounted as a distant gunshot rang out, followed by a chilling scream. Kozlov's subordinates exchanged anxious glances, their confidence wavering.

"Bang!"

"Stay focused, gentlemen!" Kozlov's voice grew sterner, mixed with anger and urgency. "We will not be intimidated by a lone infiltrator. This is our domain, our stronghold. We will not allow them to disrupt our plans."

Meanwhile, Leon relentlessly pursued, getting closer to the heart of the Executive Residence. A high-stakes gunfight ensued as he encountered a heavily armed group of soldiers. With precision marksmanship, he incapacitated the liberated one by one.

"Ahh!"

Kozlov's voice boomed with a mix of frustration and determination. "Hold your ground! This is our final bastion. We will not let one intruder derail our plans for dominance."

Gunshots and screams continued to reverberate through the Executive Residence, each echoing note a testament to Leon's relentless assault and the crumbling defenses of General Kozlov's regime.

After several intense minutes, a sudden silence fell upon the residence. Kozlov looked at his subordinates and signaled them towards the door. Unbeknownst to them, Leon was waiting just outside, leaning against the door, hearing the approaching footsteps growing louder and closer.

As the footsteps halted at the door, Leon swiftly pushed it open, aiming his weapon. In a swift motion, he eliminated two of Kozlov's subordinates with precise headshots. The other two subordinates attempted to retaliate, but Leon quickly incapacitated one with a low kick, leaving him on the floor, and efficiently killing the other with a lethal shot, Leon then kick the other dizzy liberated neck on the ground cracking it instantly killing him.
