"Ok thank you, is there a way to test the decibel of the thunderous roar"
"Yes, my lord," Phoenix replied obediently.
As Phoenix spoke, the room around them began to transform. A small table appeared in front of Leon, equipped with an earplug and a large microphone.
"Put in the earplug, my lord, and scream into the mic," Phoenix instructed.
Leon complied, clearing his throat and channeling his flux energy, feeling its warm flow in his throat. With a surge of power, he let out a thunderous scream.
"Ahh!"
Leon's voice echoed loudly, resembling the roar of thunder in the sky. Visible sound waves rippled through the air, growing in intensity.
On the side monitor, the decibel reading quickly climbed.
"120 dB."
"160 dB."
"175 dB."
The count settled at 175 dB for a moment before Leon stopped.
"175!" he exclaimed.
"That's three times louder than a normal scream," Leon remarked. "But I know I can do better."
Clearing his throat once more, Leon gathered even more flux energy, preparing himself for another attempt.
"Ahh!"
This time, Leon's scream shot up from zero to 170 dB in a matter of seconds.
"120 dB."
"160 dB."
"175 dB."
"190 dB."
'Come on,' Leon thought, pushing even more flux energy into his throat that it started to hurt until the monitor finally stopped at 200 dB.
"Cough! Cough!"
After the roaring ceased, Leon started coughing, feeling the strain in his throat.
"Are you okay, my lord?" Phoenix's worried voice echoed, and a cup of water materialized on the table.
Leon raised his hand, still coughing. "I'm fine, I'm fine," he assured, reaching for the water and taking a sip.
Looking back at the monitor displaying 200 dB, Leon nodded to himself. "200 dB is impressive, but let's stick with a range of 150-170 dB," he decided, reminding himself of the need for control.
"Now that I'm getting the hang of using flux energy, let's explore its other applications," Leon said, deep in thought about how he could harness this power.
"Alright, I've got an idea," Leon exclaimed with excitement, eager to test his newfound abilities.
"Phoenix, bring out a dummy," he commanded.
"Of course, my lord," Phoenix replied, and a metallic dummy emerged from the ground.
"Alright, let's do this," Leon said, feeling a hint of nervousness as it was his first attempt. He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, visualized his desired outcome, and summoned his flux energy into his hands to create what he imagined.
After a few seconds, he opened his eyes, but to his disappointment, there was nothing but a ball of energy.
"It didn't work," Leon sighed, his disappointment evident. "Let's try again. Don't give up."
Once more, Leon closed his eyes, focused his mind on what he wanted, and channeled his flux energy into his hands.
After a few more seconds, he opened his eyes and witnessed a gray and unstable flux energy blade, sharp and approximately eight inches long.
"I did it!" Leon shouted, his excitement evident, a rare occurrence for him.
"Now, let's test it," he declared.
Approaching the dummy cautiously, Leon controlled his flux energy to prevent the blade from destroying itself.
Standing in front of the dummy, he thrust the flux blade forward, effortlessly piercing deep into its metal body without any resistance.
"It works, and it's incredibly sharp," Leon remarked, pulling out the blade to examine it.
He proceeded to stab and slice the dummy, reveling in his newfound ability.
"Haha!" Leon laughed with satisfaction before the blade dissipated into thin air.
"What just happened?" Leon questioned, accessing the system and noticing a significant decrease of 30 points in his flux energy.
"The blade consumed a substantial amount of flux energy," Leon realized, feeling the diminished power coursing through his body.
"Well, that's enough for today. At least I've learned a lot," Leon acknowledged. "Now, I should head back to Rose. I'm sure she's worried," he said, his tone filled with concern.
"But how do I tell her about the changes at the White House?" Leon pondered, apprehensive about how Rose would react.
"I'll think about it on the way. It's already getting late, around 5 PM," Leon decided, walking out of the flux room and heading towards the elevator.
"Phoenix, summon Dark Fire," Leon instructed since he couldn't leave without him.
"Don't worry, my lord. He will come. He always knows where you are," Phoenix reassured him.
"How?" Leon questioned, uncertain. Just like Phoenix, is Dark Fire also connected to his super watch.
"Just like me, he is also connected to your super watch," Phoenix explained.
"Okay," Leon accepted the explanation.
As Leon waited by the elevator, Dark Fire arrived running towards him.
"Where are we going now, Leon?" Dark Fire inquired.
"To retrieve Rose and bring her to the Apex," Leon replied.
During their journey out of the Apex, Leon purchased more magazines for his normal bullets. As he walked through the streets, he felt a greater sense of security than before, with dark fire at his side.
"Whoom!"
Suddenly, Leon heard a loud explosion, and the ground beneath him trembled.
"What was that sound?" Leon exclaimed, taken aback by the unexpected disturbance.
"I will try to find out, my lord," Phoenix offered, connecting to working cameras in the area via the global network.
After a couple seconds.
"My lord, I couldn't find anything," Phoenix reported.
As Phoenix withdrew from the global network, the ground continued to tremble more.
"We should hurry. It seems like something serious is happening," Leon urged, his concern growing for the safety of the Earth.
Leon and Dark Fire sprinted towards Rose's apartment, their senses heightened.
As Leon approached Rose's apartment, a sense of foreboding washed over him.
"Leon, I smell the Liberated in front of us," Dark Fire suddenly alerted.
"Can you pinpoint their exact location?" Leon asked, wanting to be sure before engaging them.
"Yes, Leon," Dark Fire confirmed decisively, going forward a bit until he pointed at Rose's apartment.
"What are you certain," Leon asked not that he don't trust dark fire but why would there be liberated there?
"Yes, Leon" Dark Fire answered certainly.
"Phoenix, hack into Rose's computer and see what's happening inside," Leon commanded.
"Understood, my lord," Phoenix complied.
Within seconds, Phoenix managed to access Rose's webcam feed on Leon's super watch.
"Why are the Liberated attacking Rose?" Leon questioned, watching the live feed with growing concern.
On the screen, he saw Rose in her wheelchair, barricading the door with a shelf that had a bullet hole. With trembling hands, Rose aimed her gun at the door.
"Dark Fire, we must hurry and save her," Leon urgently declared. "You find a way through the back while I go through the front."
"Okay, Leon," Dark Fire responded before bolting away with incredible speed, resembling a cheetah or something even faster.
"Wow," Leon marveled, briefly captivated by Dark Fire's agility. However, he quickly snapped out of it, knowing he had no time to spare.
"Phoenix, continue monitoring Rose's situation and alert me if anything changes," Leon ordered, running towards Rose's apartment, his heart pounding with worry.
