After resting in the wooden boat for half an hour, Leon finally decided to check his system stats. He noticed a message indicating that he was on the verge of evolving.
"System, what does evolve mean?" Leon asked curiously, recalling the only instances of evolution he had witnessed, such as the black cat and the frostbite.
-Evolve refers to surpassing the limits of the human body and unlocking magical powers, similar to the evolved monsters you have encountered. Human evolution types include strength, healing, summoning, enchanting, and more,- the system explained.
"Evolution and magical powers? That sounds promising. It could help me transcend my human limitations and acquire new abilities," Leon thought to himself. However, he had an important question.
"System, does anyone else in this world know about the ability to evolve?"
-To my knowledge, approximately 25% of the world's population is aware of evolution or has already undergone the process,- the system replied.
Upon hearing this, Leon formulated a plan. If he ever encountered individuals with evolved powers, he would recruit them into his squad, harnessing their extra power to gain control over the cities.
-Do you wish to evolve the host? Yes/No. (Please note that the host will be asleep for a whole day during the evolution process)- the system prompted.
Before deciding to evolve, Leon sought shelter in a nearby house and barricaded himself inside. With caution, he selected "Yes" to initiate the evolution process.
-The host is currently evolving,- the system announced.
Leon lay on the bed, struggling to stay awake, but eventually, sleep overcame him. As he slumbered, his body turned as cold as death, and a strange energy coursed through his veins.
Leon awoke the next morning at 9 AM, feeling invigorated and stronger than ever.
24 Hours later, Leon finally woke up feeling filled with energy and stronger.
"Nothing seems to be different," Leon said with disappointment. However, he realized he hadn't checked the system yet.
So he decides to check the system.

To his surprise, Leon discovered that he had indeed evolved, and he possessed several new skills. The evolution had occurred internally rather than externally.
"Wow, I really did evolve, and I gained so many new skills," Leon exclaimed, marveling at the reworked evolution system.
He decided to explore these new abilities further.
-Eagle Sense-
-Effects: Heighten the user, sense, hearing, smell, taste, touch, and sight.-
Leon tested this skill by looking out the window, spotting walkers from a distance of 100 meters, and clearly hearing their footsteps.
"This will come in handy when I need to observe from afar," Leon remarked, pleased with his newfound ability.
-Healing Factor-
-Effects: A passive skill, that will activate when the user needs to heal-
Leon noticed that a wound on his shoulder caused by the frostbite shard had disappeared entirely.
-Adrenaline-
-Effects: When in serious danger, your adrenaline will activate will boost your speed, strength, and agile-
Leon also discovered Adrenaline, which would boost his speed, strength, and agility when faced with imminent danger. This skill enhanced his human adrenaline response.
-Flux Aura-
-Effects: Spread your Flux arua to any part of your body, to help with defense, speed, or damage, having your own Flux element doubles your aura,( Class The Ace, Flux Element/Unknown)-
"I have this extraordinary evolved Flux Energy, but I don't have an elemental affinity. But How do I use Flux aura?" Leon pondered, realizing the system hadn't provided detailed instructions.
While contemplating, Leon sensed a peculiar sensation inside his body. He focused on it and directed the energy to his hand, resulting in a Grey flow resembling a cloak.
"Could this be the Flux aura?" Leon wondered. He experimented with it, waving his hands and creating more Flux aura.
"I'll need to further explore the Flux aura later. But for now, let's allocate the remaining attribute points and acquire a new weapon from the system to venture into the yellow zone," Leon decided.
Reviewing his status, Leon found that he had 30 free attribute points to distribute. He allocated 10 points to physique, 10 to strength, 5 to defense, and 5 to speed.
With his attributes boosted, he proceeded to the system's shop and purchased a G36C for 600 demon points a personal favorite gun of his. In addition, he selected various attachments, including a rechargeable flashlight, a holographic sight, a vertical grip, a normal suppressor, and an extended magazine.
Armed with his modified G36C, Leon gathered his gear, including tactical body armor with mag pouches, a tactical backpack, and an all-black rifle strap.

"Given my increased strength, carrying all this gear shouldn't be a problem," Leon assured himself.
After making all the necessary purchases, Leon set off towards the dock where he had left his wooden boat. For the next two days, he rowed, ate, and slept, eventually arriving at the yellow zone's Crocket City.
At 9 AM, Leon docked the boat and climbed up a nearby dirt hill. From the hilltop, he surveyed the scene a city filled with burned and abandoned cars, smoke rising from buildings, occasional gunfire, and sporadic chaos.
"I'm back, but you became worse," Leon said.
As he descended the hill and maneuvered through alleyways, Leon stealthily made his way toward the Crocket City White House. It was his last mission location, where he intended to find answers about his abandoned team and the government's retreat from the bridge.
Navigating the streets and alleyways, Leon encountered walkers, burned-out cars, destroyed buildings, and walls covered in graffiti proclaiming liberation with a knife symbol above it.
Amidst this desolation, Leon's ears caught the sound of a wounded dog at the end of an alleyway. He followed the noise and discovered a husky with injuries, missing an eye and a leg.
"That poor dog is seriously hurt," Leon said, his voice tinged with sadness. Given the severity of its injuries, there was little he could do to help in such challenging times.
Unholstering his gun, Leon raised his hand out, calling the injured husky towards him. "Come, boy, Come here boy," he softly urged, not wanting to scare the husky away.
The husky emitted a pained sound and turned away, limping out of the alleyway. Determined to help, Leon ran after the injured dog, eventually emerging from the alleyway to confront a large, looted building the Crocket City Precinct blocked by police and civilian cars.
"Crocket City Precinct," Leon stated, taking in the scene before him.
