The rest of the evening was quite unremarkable if one ignored the horrid school anthem and a conflict between the Weasley twins and Filch, not that Julius even knew what they could have already done in the first hours in Hogwarts.
But that also reminded him of something; he would need to either get the marauder's map before the twins got to it, or somehow get it back from them after letting them have it for a bit.
The only reason he even considered the second option was for the simple reason of him not wanting the twins to completely miss out on this kind of opportunity.
'Maybe I should make a deal with them, I tell them about the map and allow them to copy all of the secret passages before giving it to me and in turn they owe me a big favor.
But first I will need to get the support and trust of the teachers without and that is despite not even having any special knowledge about our DADA teacher. Looking back I should've probably researched her background a bit but I didn't even want to know who the teacher would be this year to not spoil the surprise.'
After experiencing the beauty of the Slytherin common room a tired trio went to sleep in their separate rooms, one of the advantages of getting into Slytherin.
The next day after having breakfast together after Julius did his morning routine outside of the castle near to the lake, the three new Slytherins hurried towards their first class which just so happened to be potions together with the Ravenclaws.
And not only did Snape luckily not use the infamous questions he somehow asked in every single fan fiction he also didn't seem to be in too bad of a mood, even sending approving looks towards Julius and another Slytherin thrice throughout the whole period.
And while he completely ignored the Ravenclaws this probably just meant he wasn't able to find anything too bad about their technique and didn't want to approve of any of their actions.
At the end of the lesson he unsurprisingly awarded 15 points to Slytherin for Julius as he was, in Snape's own words, „the only student I had in a while that is able to follow basic directions".
Something quite surprising for Julius due to him not ever having learned anything about potions to this moment; he had indeed just followed the uncomplicated directions his potions book gave him.
Happy to have achieved his goal for his lesson Julius left the dungeons again for his next class.
This time it was Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall what was probably a top contestant for the most important class for Julius, after all not only was this his second weakest after potions, it was also the one taught by the teacher he would probably have his hardest time building a good reputation with while last but not least also being the one for which most of the foreign students were even going to this specific school.
Well, and Julius was curious if the animagus would play the same trick with them as she originally did in the first class in the Harry Potter series.
After all while he wasn't brave enough to do what some other reincarnators did in some other fan fictions he did still want to try something funny for which he hopefully wouldn't be found out.
He just had to hope the Professor wouldn't be inside the classroom before he was, otherwise he would probably never be able to execute is plan due to strong headwind by the deputy headmistress.
And due to him already having scouted a bit of the way before when he came back from his morning workout he was indeed there quite early, after all the school expected for the first-years to take at least 15 minutes to get to their classrooms for their first week and Julius got there in just three by jogging which got him slightly confused looks from his two friends but they still followed him, even Rachel stuck her head out of the pocket of his robes, which he still decided to wear even if just to get a few bonus points with some of the teachers, to see what was going on but she quickly realised it was nothing interesting and went back to sleeping as she had been doing for the most part since Julius arrived at Hogwarts, only coming out in the night and in the morning during his workout.
When he arrived at the classroom and made sure there was still no one around he quickly went to the teacher's desk and placed a little something on it before returning to the place he and his friends had placed their things down already earning him a few questions from them.
"What did you put down there? And please tell me it won't get us in trouble when the Professor asks since when it was lying on the desk", Habol was already convinced it was part of a prank from Julius' behaviour.
This also reminded Julius of something important he forgot; he needed to make it invisible, otherwise the one responsible would be too easily found out.
Now was the time to try out a useful little trick he learned, which was to cast a very weak version of a handful of useful spells without using his wand.
In this case he just used the disillusionment charm on his little something on the desk and due to him not using his wand the object only took on the colour of the desk, fooling only those not familiar with the charm and even then only if they didn't actively search for it.
"I know the both of you must be curious what this flower is supposed to do but just trust me with this, it's gonna be hilarious if it works."
With these words Julius sat down again to wait in silence as his friends were still racking their brains over what he could intend by just placing an inconspicuous purple flower on the teacher's desk.

If you came this far I would appreciate a review :)
Also thanks for reading!
PS: Do you have an idea what Julius' plan is? And do you think I made it too obvious by stating the colour of the plant or does it just appear to me that way because I already know the answer?
IMPORTANT:
I decided to mostly stop the system part after repeated complaints by readers, from now on only the magic stat will be shown and to not make his wish completely useless he will from now on also be able to see the magic stats of other people. The background in the plot will be the R.O.B. decided he didn't like a system in Harry Potter so he „patched" the result of the half wish so our mc would get a more useful but still not this system-like result.
Happy now?
