In the morning, when Chase woke up, his roommate was nowhere to be found. Instead, he discovered a resplendent blue robe and an awe-inspiring eagle badge on the bed. Curiosity intensely piqued, he decided to don the robe and head to class. As he entered the classroom, he noticed over 20 students, an equal mix of girls and boys. Among them were his roommate and two others who had also passed the elite assessment.
"Is that the humble peasant who passed the elite assessment?" whispered a student.
"Yeah, him and the girl over there," replied another.
The students began discussing Chase as he made his way into the class.
"Quiet!" a commanding voice cut through the chatter, instantly silencing everyone, like a bolt of lightning striking the ground. All eyes turned towards the source, revealing a stunning woman with a statuesque 5'9" stature, sporting a radiant light blue bob-cut hairstyle with captivating light blue eyes, like a celestial goddess descending from the heavens. She possessed a remarkably beautiful face, wearing a striking black corset top that accentuated her E-sized chest, form-fitting leather jeans that embraced her alluring round butt, and imposing black boots, like a warrior queen ready for battle.
"Come here, I am Freya, your new teacher for the year of your training," she addressed Chase, her tone encouraging.
Chase walked up to her, his gaze entranced by a crystal ball brimming with mysterious energy placed in front of him.
"Now, introduce yourself to the class," Freya instructed.
"I am Chase," he said, his voice reverberating through the silence.
The class remained quiet, expecting more from Chase.
"Is that all you want to say?" Freya inquired.
Chase simply nodded.
"Alright, Chase, place your hand on this ball to test your war power," Freya pointed to the energy-filled crystal ball.
As Chase approached the ball, he pressed his hand onto its surface. Almost immediately, he felt a surge of energy leaving his body and returning moments later. After a couple of seconds, writing appeared on the ball.
"War Power Tier 0, Level 2," the inscription revealed, like a proclamation of hidden potential.
This revelation left everyone stunned, like an unforeseen twist in an unfolding story.
"What? He managed to pass the elite class test at Level 2!" exclaimed one student, like an astonished witness to a remarkable feat.
"I remember having to be at Level 4 to pass," added another, like a comparison of achievements.
"I was at Level 5!" chimed in a third, like a proud boast of superiority.
"Congratulations on passing the elite test at Level 2. It seems you have some potential," Freya commended, like a teacher acknowledging a promising student.
"You can sit over there next to Ava," Freya pointed to the other person who had passed the elite exam. She had vibrant green, long, fluffy hair, 5'6" in height, bewitching brown eyes, and a captivating face. She was dressed in a distinguished blue robe, and her enchanting D-sized chest added to her charm, like a vision of beauty sitting beside him.
"It seems we will be classmates for the whole year. I hope we get along," Chase said, extending his hand for a handshake, like a friendly gesture extending the olive branch of friendship.
Ava hesitantly stretched out her hand, startled by Chase's gesture, and quickly pulled it back.
"I'm Ava. I hope we get along too," she replied in a soft tone.
"All right class, I will be teaching you about this world and warpower energy for the next two months," Freya said.
2 Months Later
For the past two months, Chase has been immersing himself in the teachings of knighthood, uncovering new knowledge about the world and war power.
In Axanata, Energy emanates from the Springs of Power. Energies pulse from it and permeate the world, but not all beings possess the equal capacity to harness these energies to their will. Unfortunately, history has witnessed far too many instances of abuse of magical powers, leaving those unable to defend themselves vulnerable.
Attempts to control this magical source have been made in the past, but the repercussions of total destruction would destabilize all magical energies across the world. However, with each passing day, more knowledge is gained, leading to less frequent and less devastating wars. Tradition, though, still hinders energy research and creativity, leaving a vast world of knowledge yet to be explored.
There are artifacts that bestow the same powers upon those who wield them, but this makes it too easy for these artifacts to fall into the wrong hands. International laws have been implemented to ensure these artifacts are used for the betterment of the entire world. The origin of these artifacts is subject to ongoing investigation, with some claiming they're dark gifts from demonic lords, while others assert they are forgotten equipment from alien visitors, and still others maintain they've been part of the world since its inception.
With this newfound knowledge, Chase's spirit and will have increased by 2 points.
"All right, class, I have finished imparting knowledge about this world and war power energy. Tomorrow, we will begin our exercises and focus on war power growth. Class dismissed. Don't forget to pick up the Blue Eagle Breathing Method book on your way out," Freya announced.
Chase and Ava stood up, leaving the classroom. Over the past two months, they had grown closer and gotten to know each other better.
Ava shared about her family, living in a quaint village outside the city, where her father worked as a skilled blacksmith and her mother as a nurturing farmer.
As Chase and Ava faced each other, he said, "Okay, Ava, I'll see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow, Chase," Ava replied with newfound confidence, having gradually overcome her initial shyness.
Chase and Ava headed to their respective dorms. After arriving at his dorm, Chase delved into studying the Blue Eagle Breathing Method, determined to make the most of his training.
The next day, all the students gathered at the training ground, which featured a running track, jumping stairs, and a metal square block instead of the usual boulder. Chase noticed his roommate, who had been absent from class for the past two months.
"Everyone, line up and sit in the lotus position," commanded Freya.
The students complied, taking their places.
"Close your eyes and perform the Blue Eagle Breathing Method. Relax and feel the energy around you and in the world," Freya instructed.
Chase commenced the new breathing technique, closing his, slowing down his breathing relaxing his body he felt something soft touch him outside his body.
"Huh," Freya looked at Chase and noticed a surge of vibrant red energy enveloping him from all around.
'I was right; you truly have remarkable potential,' Freya thought, a smile forming on her face.
"Now, bring all that energy into your body," Freya continued.
After a few minutes, all the students absorbed the war power energy.
"Wow, I feel much stronger than before."
"Me too! Is it because of the Eagle Breathing Method?"
The students were exuberant about their newfound strength.
"Yes, the Blue Eagle Breathing Method is quite special. It allows you to absorb war power energy at a faster rate," Freya explained.
After Chase finished absorbing the war power energy, inside of him, he felt an abundant of flowing energy, as all his stats increased by two points.
"Now let's proceed to the next training, which focuses on strength and speed," Freya announced.
Strength and speed were the foundational aspects of a knight's physical prowess.
"Let's start with the speed test," Freya directed.
Freya called out the students one by one, instructing them to run from one line to another and back while she timed them with a stopwatch.
"Kevin!"
The first student, a short but surprisingly strong-looking teenager, stepped forward.
"Kevin, go!"
"Whoosh!"
Following Freya's command, Kevin sprinted with astonishing power. Despite his short stature, his strides were swift and impactful, causing the ground to tremble slightly under his strength.
"65 seconds," Freya recorded Kevin's time.
The students were amazed by his speed.
"Next!"
Freya continued calling out the students, and their results varied from 68 seconds to 51 seconds. Only a few managed to finish in under 50 seconds, while the majority exceeded 60 seconds.
As the number of students gradually decreased, Chase, his roommate, Ava, and the young master from the Season family were the only ones remaining.
"Luke!"
Chase's roommate walked forward, drawing everyone's attention due to his imposing physique.
"Luke, go!"
As Luke heard Freya's command, he sprinted forward. Every step he took was powerful, causing the ground to shake. Despite his large and heavy build, he managed to move faster than most students.
"47 seconds!"
"This guy's speed is incredible!"
"Especially with a body like that."
"He did better than the average, which is 50 seconds."
The students were astonished by Luke's performance.
"Alex!"
The young master from the Mason family walked confidently to the starting line, receiving cheers and encouragement from his peers.
"Come on, Young Master Alex!"
"You are the fastest, Young Master Alex!"
With a few supporters behind him, Alex prepared himself.
"Alex, go!"
"42 seconds!"
"Wow, the young master was the fastest!"
"Ava!"
Ava stepped forward, heading to the starting line.
"Good luck, Ava," Chase said aloud, offering words of encouragement.
"Thank you!" Ava replied, nodding with determination.
"Ava, go!"
"Whoosh!"
As Freya's voice echoed, Ava ran like a graceful cheetah. Her steps were light and agile, and with each stride, her speed increased.
"39 seconds!"
"She surpassed Young Master Alex's speed!"
"Teacher Freya, your stopwatch must be broken," Alex accused Freya upon hearing Ava's time.
Freya glanced at Alex with cold eyes, causing him to sweat and lower his head. After a few seconds, he regained his composure, and Freya proceeded to record Ava's time.
"Congratulations, Ava," Chase said.
"Chase!"
Chase stepped up to the starting line.
"Chase, go!"
Focused on reaching the finish line, Chase didn't hear Freya's voice. He shot forward like an arrow.
"Whoosh!"
Chase's legs moved rapidly, each step carefully controlled and light as a feather. It was evident that his speed surpassed that of all his classmates, Chase used the forest home to climb trees and dodge around the forest from whatever was could trip practicing his speed and reflexes.
"36 seconds!"
"How can this be? There's..." Alex began to speak before Freya looked at him, causing him to quickly fall silent, While Alex's family may be noble his in a different kingdom and if he does out of line the kingdom will deal with it and Alex's family won't do anything back.
Alex approached Chase.
"Just because the teacher protects you inside the academy doesn't mean she'll do the same outside," Alex whispered into Chase's ear, as he walked away he smirk at Chase.
But Chase ignored his remark and walked over to Ava, further infuriating Alex.
"Wow, Chase, you're really fast," Ava said, clearly impressed as she only saw a couple fast people in her hometown.
"Thanks, you too," Chase replied with a smile.
"I will defeat you in the strength test," Alex said coldly to Chase.
"Now, let's move on to the strength test," Freya announced.
The students gathered around to witness the next challenge, eager to see the extent of each other's physical abilities. The training ground buzzed with excitement as they prepared for the strength test, anticipating a display of extraordinary power.
