Night noticed his gaze but she continued what she wanted to do and called Zach to inform him that he was already awake which didn't seem too surprising to him but was rather surprised to know that the iron man did not wake up sooner.
" Okay I will come soon to check on him" Zach said on the other side of the phone and Night agreed.
" Okay"
Then she hung up the call, turning back she realized that he was still looking at her without battering his eyes that she felt wierd under his intense gaze.
" Do you need something?" Night asked and Gold shook his head but still he was looking at her.
His weak black eyes taking in every little thing she was doing, putting down her phone tacking her hairs behind her ears and even her moving lips.
She seem to be saying something to him and he heard her say.
" I'm going to use the washroom I will be back soon" she said to the busy man who was still observing her and she escaped his intense gaze like that.
Later on.
Zach came to check on him and realized that his friend was not really pleased to see him as he was the reason Night had to stay away from him for a while to let him continue doing his job.
" From the way you are looking at this life savior of yours I think you are fine" Zach commented looking at not so pleased Gold who did not bother to hide it.
" But I still feel bad after everything I have done for you don't I deserve at least a gentle gaze from you" Zach said and Gold only stare at him as if he was speaking foreign language.
" Oh nevermind just reserve it for Mrs Gold" Zach commented and Gold's cold gaze melted he turn to look at the closed door where Night had just left to give chance for Zach to continue his job and seem impatient as if silently telling him to leave.
"Seriously man you are hopeless but this time I will support you no matter how crazy this may sound" Zach said and Gold looked at his friend to know what happened to him.
He knows that Zach never liked Night for him and had always been against his decision to have her back after she decided to divorce him so what happened to him to cause this change of heart.
" Just realized that she is the one for you, what can I say when you even got to risk your life" Zach said and Gold looked pleased.
" I know right but you can thank me later" Zach said and was sure he would have bust his bubbles if he could talk but since he couldn't he was using the chance effectively to tease the man.
Outside the room Zach talked to Night and gave her some instructions about Gold's health although it was unnecessary since he was fine.
But in order to help his hopeless friend he decided to add some things that could help them get closer and having Night take care of Gold was the best chance, as for the rest he was sure his friend would use his charm well.
" Make sure he follows it he can be little stubborn but it important for him to recover properly" Zach said seriously and Night nodded in understanding as she take in all his instructions.
" Okay I will leave then if anything happens you can call me"
" Okay" Night said calmly then watch him leave.
Night decided to go back to the room where she expected Gold to be resting and found him struggling.
Immediately she went close to him and help him by putting his pillow in comfortable position.
" Do you need something" She asked and Gold looked at the glass that was empty.
" You want water?...wait I will get it for you" she said and went to take the jug then pour water into the glass while all the time he watches.
Then she turn back to the bed and offered him the glass surprising she made him drink from her hand while he could only agree and felt sweet inside, though this was not the first time she was taking care of him, he couldn't help but feel happy to have her close.
" You should be more careful from now on, you are still not healed, if you want anything let me know I will help you" Night said softly after she kept the glass aside and was wiping his lips calmly.
Gold kept looking at her every action and was not calm at all, he wishes for her to be this close always.
He couldn't help but feel greedy for her attention and wanted her to be with him regardless of all that was stopping her from doing so.
Noticing his lost self Night stopped and looked at him too..
