On planet 30, she met William.
William, her husband. They were studying at the same university but in different departments.
William was the hunk of the business department while she was the belle of the IT department. According to him, he fell in love at first sight.
He chased her for 6 whole years persistently only then she agreed to be his girlfriend.
And only after being in a relationship for 4 years, did they get married when she was 31 and he was 33 years old.
They married young since the average life expectancy of humans has reached 400 years.
For the first year, their life was good. Even though William's parents were unhappy with their marriage as she was an orphan and the compatibility rate was only 40% making them unfit to mark each other, they accepted her, as their son love her dearly.
But who would have thought during her pregnancy, that man would cheat on her? And moreover, when she wanted an explanation, he even dare to act nonchalantly.
At that time they constantly fight as she wanted a divorce while he didn't. It stressed her too much that she went into labour and gave birth to a premature baby boy.
She had planned to leave the man with her baby after the birth but who would have thought that fate would play the biggest joke on her?
By the time she was awake after delivering the boy, she could no longer control her body.
She thought she had been in a coma but no. She could feel, touch and see her surrounding but she just couldn't control her body.
She tried and tried but no matter what she could do so, then when she was struggling she felt another entity in her consciousness, felt that entity slowly controlling her body and life.
She could see what was happening outside yet she couldn't react. Her spiritual power is far less than that entity to fight with it.
She could only helplessly let that entity control her body. She wanted to leave with her child but couldn't, she wanted to fight with William but she couldn't.
When William suspect her of cheating him when it was the other way around, that entity stood there without a response as if it couldn't process what was going on.
The controlling entity was truly too weird and creepy.
She couldn't comprehend that entity's thought process as no matter how much William beat her they never flinch instead they would tolerate it and even when William asked for a divorce instead of leaving him, they would make throw tantrums and cry for him not to do it.
Being fed up with her continuous tantrum and refusal to divorce him, William slowly began to show his dissatisfaction with their son.
He constantly beat their son and even denied him simple things.
Ian wasn't given the personal terminal which every child would have once they reach a year old. He wasn't allowed to go to school which every four children should get. But he didn't allow Ian in the name of him being dull and slow to react and saying he needed parental care all the time.
She had seen everything. Every injustice her son had to go through but as a mother, she could do nothing but see him slowly becoming emotionless.
Her son slowly lost his trust in his parents.
She wanted much to hug him and tell him that everything will be alright but she couldn't.
Only when she was beaten and had no energy would she get little control over her body but just little enough to release her spirit animal for a few minutes or so.
Only at that time, she could feel close to her son. She would let her brown deer play with her son but before she and he could enjoy she would be forced back.
Whenever that happen her anger and helplessness would reach their maximum.
She hated being helpless.
She hated this entity inside her.
She wanted it gone.
Gone forever from her consciousness!
Gone from her life!
Gone! Argh!
With her strong desire to save her child and to kill this unknown entity in her consciousness, Emery's spiritual power began to rotate tremendously causing a great phenomenon outside.
Ian was curled up on the sofa when he felt an energy fluctuation around him, waking him from his sleep.
He was a little frightened from the sudden change in energy. He had never felt something like that.
He instinctively wanted to run away, however just as he reached the door, he paused and looked toward the woman who was supposed to be his mother and what he saw next have his eyes wide open.
It was the most beautiful phenomenon he had ever seen. His always dim and lifeless eyes sparkled like stars. Only now he looked like a child.
He would never not recognize this deer. Even though its fur colour had changed, he knew it was his mother's brown deer.
He had only seen his mother's spirit animal a handful of times but he would never forget how it was the only thing that had given him the warmth and security he had never gotten from others.
Maybe it was because of this deer that he never could hate or abandon the woman he called mother.
And now that said spirit animal was standing beside his mother's figure in its full glory but what was surprising was its's brown skin had changed into pure snow white his small antler has transformed into 8 branched antlers on its head.
The spiritual energy around it was far more than usual making him feel warm and safe.
As if it notice his presence, the snow-white deer looked towards Ian.
Its big eyes sparkled and happily made the way to the little boy.
Once it reached the boy, it nudged and lick him in delight.
"How did your colour change? I have to change your name from browny to snowy," giggling, Ian asked the deer fully knowing he won't be able to understand even if the deer answered.
Spirit animals can only communicate with other spirit animals and with those who have a connection with them.
And since he didn't have a connection with deer he couldn't understand.
What Ian didn't know was if you fully mated with your partner, you can talk with your partner's spirit animal too.
Forget that and let's focus on the main point.
If someone in the house see him giggling like that they would surely be startled.
Playing with white deer for a while, Ian looked at his mother who was surrounded by blue light.
".....Brow... Snowy is she alright..." hesitating to ask or not... struggling for a while Ian finally asked the white deer.
