"Are you hiding something from me?" the white deer asked looking dead in Emery's eyes.
Though the spirit animals could see through their partner's emotions, they wouldn't be able to know their partner's activities if they aren't by their side.
Well, they could once their partner's spiritual power advanced to the S level. Then there could be no such thing as hiding things from each other.
"Do you think I would just let someone who has been suppressing me for five long years go? You know I am not a saint. As soon as my spiritual power advanced, I attacked that entity. It should be too injured to survive, so how could it come and attack me?" Emery smirked.
And she couldn't be any right there.
...
Somewhere outside the Farrow's villa, a handsome man who looked like he was in his mid-30s was looking at the small dog in front of him with a frown and dissatisfaction.
"How can you be so useless? You couldn't even kill her consciousness even after controlling her for 5 whole years instead of it, you got attacked by her. How could her spiritual power advance 2 steps? Useless!" the man scolded the dog.
The dog also wanted to know but it wasn't in a condition to give much thought to the woman at that time and even now it wasn't in a condition to communicate with the man in front of him.
The dog was panting loudly and pitifully as if it was going to die but if you look closely at its body you could see it was as healthy as any other normal dog.
"If not for my timely assistance, you would've died a long time ago. How can you be this careless, fully knowing we can't afford to die? the man scoffed at the sight of the dog.
Grumbling the man still picked the dog and left, "Haa..... for now, recuperate well in this body. As for the woman,.... forget about her... it's not as if she knew what was going on."
If its spiritual power wasn't up to the mark, he wouldn't have bothered to save this good for nothing but rather strangled it up with his own two hands.
.....
Emery and the white deer had no idea the one they were talking about was saved and they would have plenty of opportunity to meet them and exchange some blows in the future.
Well, it was the story for another time.
Now let's focus on the matter at hand.
"If that thing is settled, how are you planning to deal with that trash of a husband of yours? At that time, I had told you I don't like that weasel of a bastard, but you didn't listen to me and said he was sincere and you feel bad for him to waste six years of his life chasing after you without any result, now deal with the mess," Hazel, the white deer scoffed.
If one married another, in a sense, their spirit animals are also married. And it was more severe with the Alpha and Omega who can mark each other.
With the mark their soul is connected and once their soul is connected their spirit animals also feel the connection.
Higher the compatibility between the humans the higher the compatibility of the spirit animals.
With the low compatibility between William and Emery, the compatibility between Hazel and William's weasel was also low.
Moreover, humans could hide their character from other humans but spirit animals couldn't.
They openly showed their character without fear so ever since Hazel met that Weasel, It (Hazel) never liked It (the weasel).
At that time Hazel was fully against Emery married to William but like a blind woman she jump into the fire pit, which not only burned all her happiness.
"I should have listened to you but you also know how much I craved attention and love so when I saw William showering me with attention, love, and care I had never received, I ignore all the things and said yes to him. I had believed in his love but who would have thought once he was satisfied conquering me, he would change?" Emery regretted marrying William and not listening to Hazel at that time.
She regretted it dearly but when her eyes moved toward the bed, all her regret vanished.
"..... Let's not forget this failed marriage gave me my biggest blessing, little Ian," pointing toward the bed where her son was soundly sleeping, Emery softly smiled.
Even Hazel couldn't argue with that. It nodded its head though it didn't forget to show contempt at William, "Umm.....but trash didn't even think he was fortunate about it. That trash of a man, When are we going to divorce him?"
"It's his misfortune. And I will make sure to stay that way all his life. As for divorce, he will ask for it himself, after all, he is eager to get rid of me," Emery sneered thinking how he must be dreaming of marrying his omega. As for whether he would be or not it won't be up to him to decide.
Hazel nodded in understanding. That man had been keeping a male Omega by his side since Emery's pregnancy days and after all these years that omega must be close to losing his sanity if William didn't give him the appropriate name and honor, it might cause him some trouble.
"But what about Ian? Would that man easily let go of Ian, no matter what Ian is his child!" Hazel was well aware of how much humans give importance to their blood. Even though William beat Ian and thinks of him as unworthy of Farrow's name he is after all his child so Hazel thinks William won't let go of Ian to satisfy his ego.
"Don't worry, he will. He hated every existence of Ian as it is a continuous reminder of my superior genes to him. Ian reminds him how weak his genes are next to mine. So he will willingly hand Ian to me and if he didn't and try to play games, it would be the end of him," Emery was well aware one of the reasons William hit all these years was that Ian looked nothing like him.
Ian and William have nothing in common. Only by the DNA test would one will ever link William and Ian.
So she never thought that man will like for Ian to stay and even if he wanted a new mistress might not want it. So, Emery wasn't that worried about Ian's custody.
