John's POV
"Go get changed after this, we are going to see your Papa"
My mother tells my sisters and I while we're eating the dinner she prepared for us all. "Hopefully the doctor can gives us some good news." Lulu says with a pout and a sigh as she eats.
"El será bien. (He will be fine.)" Letti reassures her as we continue eating. I can also see Mama is also trying to keep herself together as we continue to eat.
"So how's school?"
To lighten up the atmosphere, I decided to change the topic and put the spotlight on Letti and Lulu. "All good~" Letti tells me in a teasingly.
"Hope you both hitting the right books instead of the boys~" Mama tells them both back which got us all giggling as we continue eating.
-1 Hour Later-
"I don't remember being told the home has changed all the rooms, you should have at least inform the family members!"
We heard and see lines of family members telling the staff off after Mama has parked her car. 'Didn't know this is going on' I think to myself.
"Didn't know we have a policy change?" Letti commented quietly to me as Mama walked in front of us all to enquire what is going on.
"What should we do now?" Lulu asks Letti and I. "Its best we wait for Mama to make the final call, I'm just hoping the home doesnt put Papa in the middle of nowhere." I said and reassured them both which they nodded and agreed for us all to wait at where we got out.
Letizia's POV
My kids are waiting at the car as I walked to enquire the angry mob of family members outside of the sanctuary, telling off the helpless staff out of frustration.
"CUT IT OUT EVERYBODY!"
I came in between shouting at the top of my voice for the chaos to stop. "DO YOU ALL HAD A PROBLEM TALKING NICELY?!" I told the angry crowd off first despite understanding how they feel. "AND CAN YOU INFORM BEFOREHAND?!" I also told the staff off much to the crowd's shock.
"Mrs McForbes, can you tell all these family members nicely that we have just lost a patient and its a bloody scene which is why we have to moved all the patients around including those staying in the same ward also."
The staff kindly pleads with me. "You should have still inform us! My husband also didn't asked to be suddenly get used to a new room?!" Mrs Hammington angrily tells the staff who was already very flustered.
"Calm down everybody, we just get the new numbers and then the place has to promise to also keep contact often with us family members." I suggests to both sides.
"Good idea, I will get the director to speak to you shortly." The staff agrees and thanks me before excusing himself. "Thank you so much Mrs McForbes, if weren't for you, we will already be stuck here all night." Mr Hang comes forward thanking me.
"The sanctuary people had been slacking on and off lately, we didn't put our family there for fun." Mrs Po continues.
A while later, we were all allowed in and I went to grab John, Letti and Lulu. "The place was turned into a riot almost really." Letti comments as we entered and get the new number my husband's in.
"What's power to people nowadays?" Lulu then asks me out of curiosity. I just look at her shrugging my shoulder before we continue walking to look where the place has dumped my husband at.
Keona's POV
"I can't blame you G, the physics paper lately had been on another level."
I reassured Gloria my oldest whose recent physics test had not been up to what she want despite she has passed the paper.
"The new teacher been mean and awful also, honestly how he passed the teacher evaluations last year is a mystery." Gloria tells me sighing.
"Looks like this Mr Beaufort needs some talking sense to." Henri suggests to me about looking for Gloria's school principal.
"I agree, the new teacher can't be leaving marks and slashes on the students to make an non-living place look good." I agree trying not to look at the marks that disgusting perverse fool left on my daughter's legs for momentarily losing her focus because of her health.
"Don't be sad Mama, I'm fine really." I looked at her as soon as she said that. "I've still gotten Madame Hollande to take care of the demon spawns. Rest up for the night you" I tell Gloria.
She nods her head before excusing herself to her room, leaving Henri and I alone. I can't help sighing in guilt as soon as Gloria goes to her room to get some rest.
"We will get that fool, dont worry." Henri reassures me. "Hitting the girls' legs with ruler because of a minor mistakes, we aren't in the 30-40 years ago system already, times had changed." I said trying not to be stressed out.
"Or unless you want Gloria elsewhere than the school?" Henri asks me. "G has only this year for high school left, we have to find a way rid of Makhov before he's going to give unnecessary trauma." I sigh foreseeing the options Gloria has.
"But what about after school?" Henri asks me again. "That's the issue also, Gloria has been in between studying and taking care of the young ones mostly." I sighed remembering.
"I rather G has some time being trained by us about workplace than learning it the hard way." I admit to Henri my fear for Gloria following in my footsteps.
"I understand your difficulties." He reassures me. "I will increase her salary by another 35 since I've been only promoted recently, she's very good with Marie and Vicki." I had an eureka suggesting to Henri.
"I do admit Marie and Vicki can be a little bit of a trouble some days." Henri agrees. "Now you see what I mean by double trouble?" I smirked teasingly at him in return.
"I know I know now~" He laughs as we both hugged and cuddled for the rest of the night.
-The Next Day-
Antonio's POV
My father approved of Keona's leave of absence the month after to see her daughter's school.
"This is too much!" He gasps in shock when Keona told him the situation with her daughter Gloria. "I can't believe schools are still allowing such outdated discipline methods." He adds on.
"Fed wont work in this scenario Papa" I remind my father about the actions that can be taken and seeing how stressed Keona is already.
As Papa and Keona continue talking about Gloria's situation, I saw Rodrigo outside already eager to gather his own new recruits. He doesnt look like he has the best intentions in mind, knowing how many Puerto Ricans he has chase off before.
'Eager for new recruits already? He is quicker than lightning.'
I think to myself before I try to come up with all sorts of excuses and ploys to be out of my father and Keona's sight of their conversation.
