Kairos cuts down the last Warden with a sword he had conjured up. With it now dead, Kairos makes the violet energy sword disappear. He looks around incase any more showed up before he begins to think about Ryder and that new Warden, the Greater Warden. He's honestly not sure if Ryder can handle it. So he needs to find Ryder asap in order to lend a hand in defeating this new foe. He was about to head off to find Ryder when two more Warden's land in front of him. He growls and conjures up his violet energy that he can manipulate thanks to his Umbrakinesis semblance.
"You guys are going to get annoying." Kairos said.
The two Warden's gather flames in their mouths and launch a stream of flames from their mouths like a dragon. Kairos forms a barrier in front of him and defends against the flames.
[This is going to consume my time.] Kairos thought. [Hopefully Ryder can handle himself.]
Elsewhere in the City, Ryder and the Greater Warden stand across from one another. Now using 9X amplification, Ryder felt more than prepared to face this new threat. Though, a part of him isn't sure if it's enough. This is an Unknown foe. The Greater Warden didn't seem fazed much by Ryder's increased power as it most likely didn't know what happened. Both Ryder and the Greater Warden charge each other and meet in the middle where they clash fists.
They both throw another punch the clashes against one another. But instead of getting into a trading blow battle, Ryder attempts to sweep the legs of the Greater Warden. But the Grimm saw this coming, so it jumped up to dodge it. As it came back down it punched Ryder in the face, to which Ryder countered by punching the Greater Warden in the chest and knocking it back a few feet. The Greater Warden growled.
The Greater Warden then prepared a Sonic Wave before firing it at Ryder. Ryder had to cover his ears from the Sonic Wave before he was pushed back from the attack. Ryder was about to use his magic and fly away but the Greater Warden suddenly halted its attack and charged him at full speed. Ryder barely dodged a clawed swipe before he jumped backwards to dodge another. Ryder lands beside a car before he dives to the side to dodge a punch from the Greater Warden.
The Greater Warden's fist broke through the car door and angrily, the Grimm ripped the door off the car with the door stuck to its arm. The Greater Warden rips off the car door from its arm and roars at Ryder. The Greater Warden grabs the car and throws it at Ryder. Ryder holds his ground and catches the car before tossing it aside.
He then sees the Greater Warden charging him, so he infuses his fist with Magic and punches the Greater Warden in the chest hard with his magic infused fist. A shockwave of orange magic erupted before the Greater Warden was launched down the street. The Greater Warden crashes into the ground and skids across the road before coming to a stop. Angrily, it punches the ground and pushes itself off the ground.
Ryder then creates two orbs of magic and prepares to throw them. Once ready, Ryder threw the right orb then the left orb. Both Orbs raced down the street and made an impact against the Greater Warden creating two large explosions. Ryder smiled triumphantly and even powered down. He deactivated his Semblance thinking he had won.
He was about to use his magic and fly off but to his shock, the Greater Warden comes flying out of the smoke at full speed with only a few cracks on its armor. Ryder looked at it in total shock and tried to activate his semblance in time but couldn't and got hit with the full force of the Greater Warden's punch. He was launched down the street and hit a car at full force. Ryder's aura flickered as he felt pain in his stomach.
Ryder moved off the car and fell to his knees as the pain in his stomach was a lot. But he didn't let it keep him down as he activated his semblance and went straight to 9X. Ryder then charged forward as the Greater Warden did the same. However, they both stopped as the ground began shaking before they both heard a loud roar. Ryder looked over and saw a massive kaiju. It was a Dragon looking Grimm. His eyes widened.
"A Dragon!?" Ryder shouts in shock.
The Greater Warden looked pleased then looked at Ryder. Ryder looked at his Grimm opponent. Ryder saw the large dragon approaching Beacon and got worried for his friends. He needed to kill this Greater Warden quickly so he can help fend off that Dragon.
