#Chapter208
Lila's POV
As I got closer to her, I could see a dull bruise below her eye and a faint bite mark on her cheek. She seemed upset and scared. Was she scared of me? As I edged closer to her, she backed away a little. I stopped and stayed where I was; she had no reason to be scared.
/"What do you need my help with?/" I inquired, keeping her under my gaze.
/"Alarix./" She whispered. She shuddered, and there was a hint of sadness in her voice.
You've got to be kidding me? Hasn't he put me through enough? Now, he's sending someone to try and talk me out of stopping him.
/"Tell him that he doesn't need to worry... He and his beloved can unite for all I care. But... I'll be coming for them if I need to./" I snarled.
/"Woah... No, you've got it all wrong./" She blurted, interrupting my rant.
I frowned at her. /"Who are you?/" I asked.
/"His sister./" She replied, rubbing the back of her neck.
