#Chapter42
Althea Garcia Hela Silvermoon
All I could feel was darkness. It surrounded me, encased me in it. I wanted to open my eyes to escape this darkness that seemed to frighten my heart, although my heart didn’t complain. Then I felt this presence around me. I found a light in this darkness. I reached my hand forward, towards it.
I wanted to feel it, see what’s behind that light. I wanted to be surround by that warm light. I felt cold as I ran towards the light. Now my heart thumped. It pumped harder. My heart longed to see it. My soul was calling someone’s name, but I can’t hear it. It was begging for me to open my eyes now.
I longed for someone, but who. Who was it? My heart pumped faster and faster as I willed my eyelids to open. I fought hard with the darkness when I finally saw the white sky above me. Then I turned my head to the side just in time to see the huge retreating figure of a man.
