Mossie shudders at the memories of that night. /"It’s okay Mossie, rest, for now, we can come back later, and you can carry on. The old man looks up from his deathbed, his face drawn but determination shining through. /"No Miss Veronica, I must tell you everything now, my time is near, and I cannot go to the afterlife knowing that the demon stills walks, I will never rest in peace./"
The years go by and peace returns to the village, the killing of the witch doctor in 2001 fades in memory and life amongst the villagers goes on. Then in 2007, Oubaas Dirk comes to see the chief of the tribe as he wishes to buy some land in the area and wants to get approval from him before he approaches the sellers. The chief grants his approval, the land near the kopje is bought, but Oubaas Dirk only returns to build late in 2009.
