The bed dipped and I cracked my eyes open. Tobias was preparing to leave the bed. I rolled to his side, stretching my arms out. He leaned over, kissing me softly. /"Back to sleep. It's early./" When I gave him what he wanted, he was virtually a different person.
/"Where are you going?/" I stretched my arms in a broad yawn, sitting up.
/"Work, now back to sleep./" He scolded.
My eyebrows furrowed. /"But you said I could go back after Theo marked me. I did what you wanted. Let me go with you./" I picked at a stray strand on the blanket. /"It's boring here./"
Tobias sighed. His gentle nature slowly hardened in front of me. /"No. Wait a bit longer. You're safer here./" Safe? What in the world did he mean by that? Why wouldn't I be safe at work?
/"Tobias./" I reached for his arm, pulling him back to the bed. /"Please./"
