It was a popular place to eat breakfast because of its signature "butter pancakes," a fluffy, sweet, and slightly salty type of flat cake. As far as Snow knew, it was one of the many things exclusive to that underground town and far outclassed what the nobles could enjoy.
As Rain cut a wedge off the five-pancake-high stack drizzling with syrup, he stared resignedly at Stain. The latter was restrained by Hornet, who had wrapped her tail around his torso. Even as the former struggled to break free, Hornet's slim appendage proved too much even for a hero able to use his full physical strength.
"Why don't they sell these outside? They'd make a fortune."
