Alex approaches the kidnapper leader from behind, his eyes flashing with a cold light. He holds his staff and points it at the kidnapper, releasing the bone spur technique. The bone spur technique has reached level 5, thanks to Alex's recent hard work, and he has developed new ways to use it.
In this situation, where Lelisa is being kidnapped, Alex knows that the bone spur technique could potentially harm the hostage if used carelessly. However, he expertly summons a bone spur that lands directly on the kidnapper's head and pierces through their body, all the way down to their legs, with a loud bang.
The kidnapper leader was unexpectedly attacked and impaled with candied haws. The spikes scattered and disappeared, causing a gruesome scene as blood, brains, excrement, and urine spewed out from the wound, particularly in the area where the carotid artery on top of the head was cut off, causing a small fountain of blood to flow. The two black-clothed kidnappers next to the leader were sprayed with the blood and were terrified by the sudden turn of events.
Lelisa, the young girl, was more quick-witted and managed to escape the situation by running towards Dr. Fauci. Alex was relieved when he saw the kidnappers getting hit, but then he noticed that something strange was happening to them. Both of the kidnappers, who were already panicked and foolish, suddenly grimaced in pain and covered their heads, while a light Alex magic halo appeared around their bodies.
Dr. Fauci grabbed hold of Lelisa as she ran towards him and noticed the Alex light on both of them. His expression changed and he shouted out a warning to Alex. Without hesitation, launched an Arcane Missile at the carriage, causing it to be destroyed in an explosion.
It seems that this monster-controlling magician uses a type of parasitic magic to control nearby monsters, and the carriage was likely their target. However, it is unfortunate that the carriage was empty when it was destroyed, leaving them at a disadvantage as they do not know where their enemy is.
The two kidnappers, who had been taken over by monsters, had lost their human appearance and had become grotesquely distorted. Their skin was split, their bodies were hunched, and their arms had turned into sharp, dark red blades.
They were both around three or four meters tall and were approaching Dr. Fauci and Alex. Across the street, a man with a sullen face watched the fight from the second floor of a house. He wanted to attack Dr. Fauci and Alex, but he knew that he was no match for them. He knew he had to flee quickly before the battle was over, or he would be found and punished for his involvement.
The man muttered angrily, "Two nosy fellows, they dared to ruin the good things of our Yin Spirit Tower. Just wait and see, I will be back! But by forcing me to activate the parasitic demon insect, you should not expect to have an easy time.
My demon parasite is not easy to deal with..." However, before he could finish speaking, his face suddenly changed dramatically as he stared out the window in shock, as if something unbelievable had happened. Suddenly, an Arcane Missile smashed through the window and hit the man, who had been hiding in the shadows.
The arcane missile hit with a loud explosion, causing immense destruction. Its power was far greater than that of regular cannons, and it shattered the walls around the window. The man standing next to the bed was instantly killed by the blast, with no chance of survival. Meanwhile, the parasite that this person had relied on was being attacked by eight heavily armed elite skeleton soldiers.
Just before this, Alex had noticed that the two men in black were about to transform and realized something was off. Dr. Fauci, with his extensive knowledge, immediately recognized that they were monster parasites. Alex quickly summoned all the skeleton soldiers to confront the two demon parasites, asking Dr. Fauci to search for any other enemies that might be hiding nearby.
Dr. Fauci is a seasoned member of PARSLOV City and was on the verge of being promoted to the position of a formal magician. He quickly located his target and used an arcane missile to attack, causing the building where the enemy was hiding to collapse.
Alex witnessed the event and felt a sensation on his scalp. He thought to himself, "Is this the power of a high-level magic apprentice in the energy system? I can only imagine the strength of an official mage or great mage if they have the ability to throw a nuclear bomb at will."
Alex felt an intense wave of emotion, which only fuelled his desire to become a more powerful superhuman. Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci's arrogant voice called out, "Hmph! I only know the cowardly creatures who hide their heads and tails. Do you really think Lord Fauci will not be able to find you when you are hiding there?" As Alex looked at Dr. Fauci, he could not help but feel a sense of envy. Only an energy magician could produce such a strong output of violence, something that was completely beyond the capabilities of a necromancer. However, Dr. Fauci also seemed to be envious of Alex.
Dr. Fauci wanted to assist Alex in handling the two parasites that he encountered, as he had faced a similar situation in the past when a group of junior apprentices were attacked by a parasite of parasites. Dr. Fauci was aware that Alex, as a new necromancer, may not have been able to handle the situation on his own.
In fact, he believed that it would be best for Alex's undead creatures to delay for a few moments. However, when he turned his attention back to the present, he saw that the battle was already over. The two demon worms lay on the ground, barely able to breathe and covered in blood, while Alex's skeleton soldiers had sustained minimal casualties and seemed unscathed. Dr. Fauci was surprised by the resilience of the skeleton soldiers.
Alex eventually removed the skeleton soldiers and successfully killed the demon worms' parasites. Upon killing one of the parasites, he discovered a surge of psionic energy coming from the cemetery. He pretended to inspect the corpse while secretly absorbing some of the energy, increasing his total stored psionic energy to thirty-five.
