Chapter 19 - Fire Fists.

"Die! Die! You mongrels!" Lith exclaimed in delight as he massacred the Dindanium Wolves he fought. They were six with one being an Arion class beast. They had unusual blood red skin, piercing gold eyes, saber-like fangs and charcoal black claws. The leader being the Arion class, had beautiful golden runes all over its face, forming a mask of runes. The beasts appeared to be very tough as with all the power Lith was putting into his attacks, there were only two casualties. They also appeared to be very fast posing a great problem for Lith. If it wasn't for his armor, he could have already lost some limbs or more.

Another trait of the beasts was, the leader could give buff skills to the beasts to boost their speed, strength and toughness. Lith hacked and slashed, using the berserker martial arts his father taught him which allowed him to turn and dodge at weird angles. For someone who used giant blades, this shouldn't have been possible but Davies was an irregularity who created a martial art which contrasted and broke the rules and Lith was now benefiting from it. There were some few scratches on his armor which were caused by the leader but the subordinates were no problem at least for his defenses.

As the battle was still going with Lith getting frustrated by the second, his eyes flashed a golden light. He had already succumbed to his maniacal side but it was proving futile. Red light burst out of him and engulfed him. The light got brighter and brighter turning a shade of red gold. Unlike Vorden's breakthrough, the beasts didn't feel anything. They just froze some seconds and attacked again. The light seemed to be questioning their authority and pride. This time the leader himself attacked but something happened. When the leader got close to Lith who had his head down all this while, a muscular arm covered in flames materialized in front of it and punched it right in the face. It flew 3 meters away from its pack from the punch. The light dimmed slowly, revealing two red muscular arms covered in flames attached to Lith's back by two smaller artims. Lith who had his head down slowly raised it, revealing red glowing eyes and wide crooked smile which sent shivers through the Dindanium Wolves. He took slow steps towards the beasts but something unexpected happened. The flame fists attacked him. They stretched and attacked every single part of his body. They passed through the armor and attacked his body making him cry out in pain. He felt like he was burning. Another red light, this time darker, burst out of him. All the beasts in that area froze as the real breakthrough was happening. The attacks of the flaming fists got intense as they attacked aggressively without cease. The more Lith screamed, the more they attacked. Lith was already trashing on the ground in pain as felt his skin plus his organs been fried by the flames. Surprisingly, nothing happened to the armor. Another red light this time with a golden tint, burst out Lith and encapsulated him. He felt the temperature of the flames decrease rapidly till he felt warm. He felt like he had been taken out a volcano. On the outside, Lith breathed in gulps as his body slowly stabilized. With much difficulty, he took the Stabilizing Pill from his ring and threw it in his mouth. A sky blue light engulfed his now pale body. He felt a cooling sensation in his body as his power rapidly stabilized. In his spirit world, he saw a miniature Lith with arms covered in flames, entering the artim.

After 5 minutes, he opened his eyes and slowly stood up. He could still feel some pains but they were all disappearing fast. His hair had become a little golden but he didn't realize it. He now had one breakthrough to complete and he will gain access to his Innate plus the Upper Level.

He turned towards the beasts who had woken out of their stupor and smiled. Two small artims appeared on his back taking positions at the joints of his arms. Red muscular arms grew from the artims giving Lith the image of four arms in Ben Ten. Like a manual, Lith saw basics on how to use the Fire Fists, the moment they appeared. He flexed them, causing veins of flames to engulf them. He picked up his sword and smirked at the beasts who were now cowering in fear with the exception of the Arion class one. In normal sense, Lith should have been at the same level as the Rika class beasts or a bit lower but fate was a bitch. She made Lith stronger than them even making their leader a bit intimidated. They couldn't as accept this. Unacceptable! Their pride wouldn't allow that kind of shit!

Lith bended his knees, accumulating power in his legs. The ground cracked slightly due the pressure. He gave a great leap while raising his sword over his head. His fire arms opened their arms and also held the sword covering it in raging flames. Five artims appeared around the Rika class beasts while Lith headed towards the Arion class beast. He slashed at the same time activating the Explode skill. The dynamites exploded and tore the beasts apart. It seemed like its power had upgraded after Lith broke through. At the same time, Lith slashed vertically at the beast, releasing a fiery arc which flew towards the howling beast. The beast managed to dodge the attack a bit but it still got scorched by the raging flames and caught fire. Lith didn't stop there but used the skill of his sword, Flame Boulder, which pummeled the wolf into a half burnt building. He followed up with an exploding kick, a kick mixed with the Explode skill. Just like Vorden, using mixture attacks like this didn't need him to use an artim to channel art energy.

The wolf burst through the building but it didn't get the chance to fall down as the fiery arms on Lith stretched and pulled it back. Just as it was about to collide with him, he used Explode plus Flame Boulder with reduced the wolf into ashes upon intact. Within just three minutes, Lith had erased a pack of wolves from existence.

He smiled mischievously: the hunt had just started. All beasts within a ten meter radius shivered unconsciously, not knowing what was the cause of the killing intent.
