Chapter 22 - Back To The Capital. Teleporting Speed Train.

In just a flash, the week had passed and Vorden and Lith were on their way to the capital. They wore casual clothes; T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. Lith had his hair tied in a ponytail which reached his waist. He wore silver rimmed circular glasses as he lost the old ones in the ruins in a fight.

In no time, they reached the capital. Davies drove the car towards the parking lot of the City Hall. They took their time to get out but they didn't expect what happened. The place was bustling with people, nobles and commoners of the various races. The moment they got off the car, everything around them froze and looked at them in awe. They also weren't prepared for this kind of reaction so they also froze in shock. After some few seconds, they broke out of their stupor and quickly headed into the building. The moment they left, the people broke out of their reverie. The males had faces of jealousy and awe while the females had red and blushing faces like they'd lost the ability to breathe.

"Did you see that? That grey haired guy looked so...….angelic. I couldn't even breathe." "I-I'm speechless. The blonde one looked so cute." "How can there be people like this in the world and they are humans. I've probably lost my pride as a vampire." "How can mere humans look so….beautiful?! I must eliminate this!"

Just like every normal human or being's reaction to someone, some admired and praised the beauty and cuteness of Vorden and Lith while some were driven insane by the jealousy and stupid pride. A pride which came from the two prideful races among the races in Gassendi, the elves and the vampires. Obviously, the Branlocks were oblivious to this as they were focused on their journey to Alpa, the place where their lives as gudas began. They didn't have time for some "slight" reactions to their appearances. In fact, they were prepared for this the moment they found out about their irregularities. Taking the elevator to lowest floor, a floor underground, the Branlocks appeared in front of two huge glass doors. The doors opened on their own the moment they got closer to them and they entered. Instead of appearing in a room or a hall, they found themselves in front of a long, white train with silvery black streaks and teleportation runes engraved on it. A freakishly tall man in black clothes stood in front of the only door into the train. He had spiky yellow hair and a bushy beard. He was incredibly muscular as his shirt threatened to tear apart. He held a small scanner with which he used to check the validity of the student's ID card. Davies led the shocked children towards the man. In fact, they dodged the queue which to some protesting and threatening but it all ceased when Davies intentionally released his aura. Those in the queue no matter the race were shivering as the man 'elegantly' passed them with his family. Gamora and Uncle Flamod only shook their heads at Davies's act. He was totally reckless. The tall man saw this but ignored. Instead he did something that shocked the people around. He left his scanner hovering in the air, yes, literally hovering and stride towards Davies with a huge smile on his. When he reached him, he gave Davies a big hug and carried him while exclaiming happily. "I can't believe it. The great guda of my time! The only Pro-guda in my year group! I can't believe I'm seeing you here! This is so…." BANG!

Davies hit the tall man on the head much to the surprise of everyone around and the man didn't do anything. They'd seen the man beating the crap out of anyone who pissed him off or challenged his authority but he did nothing to this man. "Little Bee, I remember telling you to stop this act." Davies rebuked Little Bee. "I-I was just happy to see you. It's been a 16 years already." Little Bee said with a sullen face. "Ugh…Alright. By the way, Leon, these are my sons, Vorden and Lith….." "Nice to meet you. I'm Leon Delmitry, Head General of the 1st Rank Demurral Angelic army." "Huh? The great Head General?" Lith couldn't believe it. The man who was like a smaller god in Demurral was standing in front of him and even behaving like a kid in front of his father. "Yep. You got that right. This is just a hobby I took up. I like seeing faces of newly awakened when they are going to Alpa so I come here to bid them farewell." Head General Leon said it like it was no big deal. Those around were now vibrating. In the face of the Head General , they were basically flies. Some subconsciously looked at Davies and couldn't help but vibrate more. If the Head General , an entity like that acted humbly in front of that man, then what kind of being was that man. They didn't even want to think of it. It was obvious the Head General listened to everything the man said. They didn't want to imagine what would happen if the man 'ordered' the Head General to break them. H.General Leon wasn't just any Head General, he was the Head General for the 1st Rank Angelic Army in Demurral. The Angelic Army was classified into four ranks before the main army of Demurral. Those four ranks were considered the elites and getting into them was like finding a pin in a haystack. It was almost impossible. If the four ranks were considered elite, then the first rank was considered the elite of the elites. They were existences you couldn't afford to offend. Even the lowest level guda in the rank was at the peak of the Advance Level and here stood their leader, the Head General himself and he was acting humbly in front of some random man. You could imagine the fear and shock the people around were in. "Now that I realized, you look as cute as your father but better." H.General Leon stated making Davies scrunch up his face in annoyance. He would have hit the man if it wasn't for timely intervention of Gamora. "Hi there Leon." "Oh…Miss Gamora and Flamod. I didn't notice you… I was so happy to see Davies that…." "It's nothing." Now the people were sweating barrels. What the fuck was going on there?! The man was now acting like a waiter in front of this woman who looked so angelic. Most of the males had wolfy grins as they imagined how Gamora would look like in bed as they ravaged her. Some were even drooling but they froze when they felt gravity fall on them. They subconsciously looked towards Davies who's eyes had turned a shade of jade green and they couldn't help but swallow their thoughts. He was really dangerous than the Head General. Thinking everything thing was settled, Davies turned to look at his friend who was now shaking in shock. He pointed at the bevy of ladies who were a little behind him who were looking at him and his kids like they were some kind of delicacy, especially his sons. This time it was Gamora who acted. No one saw what she did but the ladies started convulsing.

"Let's head on with this before it gets out of hand." H.General Leon said ad he moved back to his position behind the scanner. He took Vorden and Lith's cards with another look of shock on his face. 'What the fuck is this! He gave birth to two Pro-gudas! The Brimestones are really fucked up now!' He thought as he quickly scanned their cards and handed it over to them. Davies led the kids into the train. "I suggest they were face masks. That kind of appearance is intimidating!" H.General Leon said over his shoulder to the Branlocks.

Inside the train, the kids looked around in shock, completely ignoring the dumbfounded gazes of the people inside. It looked nothing like the interior of a train. The compartments looked like mini apartments with small golden lights everywhere. The pathway was paved. Davies led the family into a compartment with black doors. There were well cushioned seats for six in the compartment with enough space for movement of any kind. The Branlocks sat down.
