Yan Xinyi had woken up earlier than usual and was ready to leave.
She had already informed her maid servant that she would be having breakfast outside.
The day dawned crisp and clear.
The sun poured through the windows and another day had dawned, bringing with it new hopes and aspirations.
The light of dawn seeped into his room.
Feng Zi Mo woke up, rubbed his bleary eyes and walked to the window.
There was a pearly glow in the sky.
The first rays of sunlight lit up his warm room. The dawn chorus of melodic birdsong drifted in.
The rising sun cast a rosy hue across the morning sky. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the scene.
The just-risen sun shone softly on the city streets, bringing with it a flurry of early-morning activity.
Children voices could be as they headed to school.
That morning Feng Zi Mo had woken up, the same as everyday stretching his legs off his king sized bed and onto the floor and as usual putting on his indigo blue slippers on, his arms raised up grazing the ceiling fan spinning.
Feng Zi Mo was now ready and had informed his secretary to take over as he would be late for work as he was going to somewhere else.
He ate his usual breakfast of toast and coffee and headed out to the meeting place.
He must have been the first customer.
Feng Zi Mo got his normal cup of Americano and carried the money and paid for the cup of Americano in the next counter.
The polished marble floor was glimmering beneath him as he was walking towards the table in the right corner of the restaurant.
He made himself comfortable on the light and comfortable mid-century chair.
When he was about to take the first sip of her cup of coffee, the looks of the cup caught his eye.
It had a very rich vintage look itself.
The cup was in blue and the details were in silver.
The fresh hot coffee warmed his palms as he took the first sip.
The invigorating smoky taste was heavenly.
Feng Zi Mo placed the cup on the table and then took a deep breath as he thought of how he had gotten himself in such an unfathomable situation.
If it were not for his mother's best friend then he would have probably not lost his phone.
If it were not for his mother's best friend, he would have not woken up so early and would be preparing for heading to work.
The previous day , he had been forced to attend the blind date for his mother's best friend sake.
The woman he had met was his mother's best friend daughter, Xia Zhenzhen.
Who knew that while he was trying to escape the blind date, he would have ended up taking the wrong phone.
As he was sipping his cup of Americano, he glanced at his wrist watch only to see was there earlier than the previously agreed meeting time.
Before he could crane his neck to see if the girl was coming.
He saw a young lady in a white wrap coat,a white casual t-shirt,blue mules denim wide leg jeans, white platform sneakers and a white leather clutch bag with her hair was tied a high bun with spools of it covering her neck with the azure festoon necklace and some covering her ears only portraying the hanging azure tassels from the earrings.
"Are you Mei Wei Qi?" He inquired and Yan Xinyi vigorously nodded her head in acceptance as her hair bounced.
They shook hands and sat down.
She sat down on the seat opposite of his and fished out his phone in her bag and handed Feng Zi Mo while he handed Mei Wei Qi hers.
"Thank you for coming." Yan Xinyi said as she walked out of the restaurant and disappeared from his sight.
....
When Yan Xinyi walked into the club the major thing that she noticed was the fashion.
Clothes made up a huge part of the experience which was also a rapidly changing trend.
Glittery makeup on the faces of the ladies shone brightly.
The beat was vibrating off the walls as Yan Xinyi entered the admission doors.
The crowds was out in force and ready to party.
The drinks were flowing across the tables just as fast as the bartenders could make them, conversations were loud and patriots were struggling to hear over the thumping music and the dance floor was filled with bodies swaying to the beat.
As the line continued to grow outside, she found excitement through the massive doors that everyone was waiting to walk through.
Two steps inside and she was in a magical world of disco lights, laser beams, and the irreplaceable glow of black lights shinning on people.
Everyone was smiling and having such a good time.
She didn't even realize she was packed in the club like sardines. The D J moved her in ways no one has ever done before.
The line at the bar was extremely frantic, with people getting water and others their favorite alcoholic beverage.
There she spotted Biao Laohu,Lan Yu Xi and Jia Meng Yao on the seats opposite to the bar where a massive crowd was standing in a line waiting to be served.
"Hello!" Biao Laohu greeted her. She could notice that they had changed so much after graduating from high school and going to different universities and some colleges.
"Hi." She greeted them back. She sat down and poured herself a glass of alcohol.
The colourless drink shone in the disco lights, laser beams, and the irreplaceable glow of black lights shinning on the people who were enjoying themselves on the dancefloor.
After a few drinks,Yan Xinyi could obviously note that her friends wanted her to get drunk but as for the reason she could not understand.
They chatted over cold drinks until it was late at night.
After the bars had shut, after the clubs had closed, when the last revellers had straggled home and the streets lay empty and blank.
Yan Xinyi,Biao Laohu,Lan Yu Xi and Jia Meng were seen walking while shouting in the streets as all were drunk.
"Do you know what love feels like?" Yan Xinyi asked them.
They all stood erect and listened to her.
"It feels like... floating on the moon!" Lan Yu Xi replied as she jumped up and back again she landed on the ground.
All the others burst out into laughter holding onto each other.
In the same happenstance Assistant Ju Jia Yi was driving Hu Le Qi home. "Sir will you invite Mrs Hu to the welcome party?" Ju Jia Yi asked him as he held the steering wheel on his hand while checking the road ahead for any cars or peope crossing.
As they were driving smoothly they came to a halt when Ju Jia Yi pressed on the brake pedal. "Isn't that Yan Xinyi?" He asked aloud as he pointed outside where she was walking while screaming with her friends.
Hu Le Qi got out of the car and went to where she was. He could see that she was completely drunk. He carried her into the car and they drove off leaving her classmates in a daze.
