"Oh, what do those skills do?"

With a thought, four different panels opened up

Effect: Increases both your PDEF and MDEF by 100 ]

[Clawwed Strikes

Effect: when making an unarmed scratching strike increase your PATK stat by 50 until the attack ends]

[Dragon Born Muscles

Effect: Increase PATK by 50 ]

[Breath of Darkness Lvl 1

Effect: breath out a cone of air that will do 100% of your MATK stat in dark type damage, as well have a 10% chance apply minor blind for five seconds ]

"Whoah all this, only for being, well at least looking like a dragon born, I wonder how my stats compare to another level 1 dragon born or another level one player"

Just as Smaug was looking over his strength an alert sounded in his head and a system message told him of an intruder.

[Intruder alert, defeat the intruder for DP.

As Smaug finished reading this, a holographic screen showed in front of him. It sowed the dungeon entrance and in it a giant eagle. Above its head, it said, "" as it flew in, the screen followed it until it met with its first group of Kobolds, however, this time Smaug could see new information. Firstly all the regular Kobolds had a level ranging from one to five. Next, the mage appeared to be level 3. Immediately Smaug ordered another group to close in on the location as the eagle started to attack, swooping down to level one Kobold who only had a rusty knife, while swooping down the level three kobold intercepted it with its wooden spear. Just then above the eagle's head a "-1" appeared above its head and underneath its information, a green bar appeared. Next, the Mage got its turn, and with some grunts, a small ball of fire appeared at the end of its staff. This fire then flew towards the eagle colliding with its left wing. Just then a red "-4" appeared, and the green bar shrunk about 4% of its original size.

"If I had to guess this thing has around 100 health, but more than that it puts into perspective my monsters, while the eagle is big it doesn't have an element, meaning no special weaknesses or resistances. I can also deduce that it has higher physical defense rather than high magical defense. The damage difference isn't big but it is also too far apart from where the different attacks landed. The spear hit its torso while the flame hit the wing, that is interesting, I'll have to get a skill or item that lets me see these guys' entire stat board or something."

As Smaug was talking to himself, the level five Kobold came running forward, with the rusty one-handed short sword it ran forward and jumped, not very high mind you but high enough as the cave sealing was limiting the maximum height the eagle could fly at, even if this section did have wide cave walkways. Once the kobold hit the Eagle in the side, the swords left a considerable wound, with a bright red "-15" the bar shrunk further becoming yellow. Just then the eagle screeched and directly dived for the level five Kobold. In response, the mage, spear-wielding kobold, and the level five all readied for a counterattack.

"- 1, -15, -5"

In total, all three attacks hit more vital areas and dealt another 21 damage. At this point, the Health bar of the eagle started to get low. Slowly approaching the halfway point blood gushed out of the Eagle's wounds in a quick gush dealing another two damage. Next, the level four kobold jumped at it with no weapons in hand and scratched right across its chest wound.

The Eagle then screeched in pain. After this attack, the health bar of the eagle was approaching the halfway point rapidly turning Orange. Once this happened red energy enveloped the beast and it dived forward with reckless abandon far faster than before. Instantly reaching the level five Kobold faster than they could react and slashed at it with its talons ripping off a decent chunk of its face.
