Chapter 10 - The Girls

Thale was lying on the ground, trying to catch his breath after the intense battle. He looked up and saw the three girls that the pirates had been trying to kidnap, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of relief that they were safe.

The first girl was tall and slender, with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. She seemed to be the eldest of the three, and she had a confident, no-nonsense demeanour. Thale is instantly attracted to her. She had a curvy physique and Thale is at that age.

The second girl was shorter and more petite, with dark hair and piercing green eyes. She seemed to be the most nervous of the three, and Thale could see the fear in her eyes as she looked around at the battlefield.

The third girl was the youngest of the group, with bright red hair and a mischievous smile. She seemed to be the most carefree of the three, and Thale couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for her spirit.

Thale knew that he had to do something to help these girls, and he struggled to his feet, determined to do whatever it took to get them to safety. He knew that it was going to be a long road ahead, but he was ready for the challenge.

Thale walked over to the girls, trying to put on a brave face despite the pain he was feeling. He knew that they had been through a lot, and he wanted to do everything he could to make sure they were okay.

"Are you all right?" he asked, looking at each of the girls in turn.

The eldest girl nodded, her expression serious. "We're fine, thanks to you," she said, her voice full of gratitude. "We don't know what we would have done if you hadn't shown up."

The second girl nodded, her eyes welling up with tears. "Thank you so much," she said, her voice shaking. "You saved us from those monsters."

The youngest girl grinned up at Thale, her red hair standing out against the dust and dirt that covered her face. "You're a real hero," she said, her voice full of admiration.

Thale felt his cheeks flush with embarrassment. He had never been called a hero before, and he wasn't sure how to react. "I just did what anyone would have done," he said, trying to downplay his role in the battle.

The eldest girl shook her head, a serious expression on her face. "No, you did more than anyone else would have done," she said firmly. "You saved our lives, and we'll never forget that."

Thale felt a warmth spread through his chest at her words, and he knew that he had done something truly special. He had saved these girls, and he had made a difference in their lives. He knew that he would never forget this moment.

The eldest girl held out her hand, a warm smile on her face. "I'm Elara," she said, introducing herself. "This is my sister, Aria, and our cousin, Lily."

Thale took each of their hands in turn, feeling a sense of camaraderie with these girls that he had never felt before. "I'm Thale," he said, introducing himself. "It's nice to meet you all."

"It's nice to meet you too," Elara said her smile widening. "We can't thank you enough for what you did for us today."

"It was nothing," Thale said, feeling a sense of humility wash over him. "I'm just glad that I was able to help."

"Well, we're in your debt," Aria said, her voice full of gratitude. "Is there anything we can do to repay you?"

Thale shook his head, feeling a sense of pride wash over him. "No, there's nothing you need to do," he said a warm smile on his face. "I'm just glad that I was able to help."

Lily grinned up at him, her red hair glowing in the sunlight. "Well, if you ever need anything, just let us know," she said, her voice full of mischief. "We'll always be there to help you out."

Thale couldn't help but laugh at her words, feeling a sense of joy and camaraderie with these girls that he had never felt before. He knew that he had made some new friends that day, and he couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.
